-Typing is easier and a lot more accurate than on phones with 4" & 4.3" screens.
You can't be serious. Other OSs perhaps, but you can't equate a 4" screen with being harder and less accurate. That's the responsibility of the OS.

i own an iphone 4 for 2 month now and its amazing... i find new features besides the apps even now ... like yesterday i discovered world view where you can see the places you took your photos on a map.

never had crashes- it can be used in soo many ways . internet is much faster than i had expected ... typing is easy especially in landscape mode (it nearly matches a keyboard but only in landscape mode .. if held standart my big fingers have to slow down.

photos are great video too and OMg the screen . never seen something that sharp ... you can read text as big as an millimeter

something that can be improoved is the , battery life and notifications +speakers sound poor

Hello everyone.

I've had my iphone 4 for 2 weeks now. It's my first Apple product ever & my first smartphone ever.
I had the chance to examine and play a bit with its competitors a few of my friends owned before buying. None of them really pleased me, deisgn wise or function wise like an iphone.

All is well so far.
It has no problems and does almost all I want.
A few things missing I will be able to correct once the new untethered jailbreak is out.

This must be your first smartphone ? The iPhone 4 is really not that different than iPhone 3, or the many good Android phones, that have been out awhile.

All smart phones and neat and useful, but the iPhone is just Awesome. Everything works how it's supposed to, every time.

I have the brand new Nexus-S. Never had any issues the 7 days I have had it. Everything works like it's supposed too. Click an app and its open before I blink an eye. Webpages load up in tenth of a second.

Google maps with 3d buildings is amazing. Hands down tgr best navigation system I have ever owned. Better than found in my BMW.

The Nexus -S is every bit the equal to the iPhone 4 and then some.

first impression?

OMG, you are beautiful, a treasure, I think my life has changed forever

ok, so that was only 95% truth, 5% tongue in cheek:D

seriously, totally blown away by the Retina display, absolutely stunning.

I honestly only ready this thread every now & then because it reminds me when I first received my iPhone. It was the most amazing thing to me & I still feel the same about it every time.

You must have joined the wrong forum. This is the apple forum, not the android forum. While the nexus s may be a great phone, we don't care .

Maybe I should go join an android forum to talk about the iPhone..

Let's sum this up

Ok,ok, ok, ok, ok, ok

ok

Other phones may beat out the 4 on a spec here or a spec there but there is NO QUESTION in any rational person's mind that as a whole device or a whole experiece the 4 is at the vanguard of this market.

Also I will be shocked if the reign does not continue with the 5 this summer.

Cheers mates

Won't have my Verizon iPhone for another 21 days. Anxious to see how it works on big red's network. I am coming off an Motorola Droid V1, which has not been a bad phone, but the user experience is not in the same league as my iPod Touch and iPad iOS devises. Android is capable, just requires more "thinkin" than the iOS machines. I cannot imagine my parents being able to figure out the android, whereas after messing with it for 5 minutes my dad, age 84, had stolen my ipad!

Apple's walled garden has its limits, but it sure grows some tasty stuff.

So I'm looking forward to using the iPHone on the best network (by far) in my neck-o-the-woods.

Based on my experience with a iPad 3g on the death star, iPhone on verizon should be fantastic!

GAWW!

I can't upgrade till May 5th...

I will be upgrading from an Env3...no data plan. I've never had a data plan on a phone...and well, it really killed me. I totally can't wait to have an iPhone in my possession.

Iphone 4 is fantastic, coming from Htc Magic android phone rooted and everything, which was a good phone but little slow (well it was an old phone).

By comparison the Iphone speed is incredible, no lag whatsoever, ever. I have heard that even latest android phones experience lag, and this was the main reason i decided to go for an Iphone when time came to upgrade from htc magic. Its been a month already and i'm a happy bunny, even no temptation to jailbreak it, so far it does all i want as it is :)

iphone or Android

Hi everyone!, I am new to the forums.. can anyone help me telling that which one is better iphone or an HTC Android cell phone...

iPhones, obviously. :p

No, they are both good phones. It depends entirely on your personal preference. Go to a store, try both and pick the one you like best.

If you want to charge your battery everyday at noon, buy an android. If you enjoy never getting software updates, and being treated like a step-child, buy an android. The iPhone is simply the best phone on the market, period.
