So, I'm pulling the trigger on an iPhone 4 this week. Has anyone ordered online from AT&T and had it shipped? It's saying due to high demand it may be 3-5 days before any iPhone 4 order is shipped?

Is that accurate for anyone who has purchased an iPhone 4 from AT&T online or have you gotten it quicker?

Just bought my brand new iPhone 4.

It's so ****ing beautiful, I'm about to jizz on its retina display screen.

hahaha, i felt the same way when i got mine...but then realised i'd ruin it...so put a screen protector on, then jizzed on it!

Nice username too, lol

I finally said goodbye to palm and sprint and got the iPhone. it really feels quite solid (especially after using the flimzy pre for so long. I still think webos is a better designed operating system than iOS but apple has the most refined, and supported system with the best apps no doubt. multitasking works well enough that I cant complain, better than androids for sure. Hopefully iOS5 will bring much improved (and needed) notifications.

I had to get a speck case for it because it just seems too fragile for me (I am not easy on my phones). The BEST feature of this phone is the screen. Unfortunately I got the antiglare screen protector on it and I feel like it takes away from the sharpness of the screen. I might switch it, havent decided yet. Battery life is good (for a smartphone). All in all im happy and I believe that this phone is all around the best phone available.

Have had my iPhone 4 for two weeks now, am loving it! Got the free Griffin Case with the 3D like background, as nice as it is, it's starting to become loose :(

Other than that. I'm loving my iPhone :D

I just purchase a iPhone 4 yesterday and my screen is very yellow, has server light bleeding, and has scratches right out the box :(. I will be exchanging mine this week.

Just thrilled

Went from 3G to 4 and kind of embarrassed I waited so long. Wow, do the apps open faster and work better. The design is a work of art too. Actually not going with a case on this one (despite the antenna faux pax. )

My only quibble is that it took me a few copies to get away from a slightly yellow screen. Must have had an odd batch or two out there . . .

What women want

Way back in the summer I stood in line and got a pre-ordered IP4 on the day of release.

Yes there were antenna issues (I'm left handed) and even though a bumper hid the problem, shrill press comment made me think I'd done the wrong thing, that Apple would magic up a hardware fix, and that I'd be left with an unsaleable device. Then Jobs did his arrogant and condescending worst so, just before the 30 day deadline, I returned it for refund.

What's changed? We don't know if there's been a silent fix, but rampant sales suggest that IP4's attributes outweigh other known gremlins.

So I convinced myself that 14m folk can't all be wrong, followed the herd, and bought another one.

Then I realised that what had changed had nothing to do with IP4, it was my wife in an infinite loop reminding me that her 3G was so slooow since 4.0 and could she have my 3GS?

Wonder how many other IP4 sales are "domestic upgrades"?

Negative sides of iPhone 4

Premise: I am blown away by it. I literally feel that my life has changed since I got it (!!!).

However, perfectionist that I am, there are some things that do bother me. 3 to be precise.

The main being (1) battery life. If this was to be improved this would be the *ultimate* gadget to me.

Then the (2) home button. Every other physical aspect of the phone is slick and solid. The home button simply is not. It feels weaker and unstable and to me it should be consistent with the rock solid other commands.

Ultimately, (3) the speaker. It's too easy to cover it up with your fingers while using the phone. Moreover the quality/volume is not that good.

Otherwise, best belonging I ever had. I even think it's actually *worth* its price.

Upgraded from 3G to 4 today and all i can say is wow. The polish of the device is incredible. It sounds stupid, but the OS feels completely different due to the smoothness of transitions, app load times, and performance.

The camera has to be the most improved hardware component for me. Being able to shoot HD video and take HDR pictures is incredible. Coming from someone who only shot video using the QIK app on the 3G, this alone would be worth the upgrade. But....

Multitasking! Pandora while playing Angry Birds, Skype while checking e-mails and browsing the net... this was the promise of the iPhone3G, we just had to wait a while.

Of course, it's not without it's flaws. The next iOS seriously has to address the notification system. I'm no developer or engineer, but I have to believe there is a better way to manage notifications. An update, or non-critical message should not force me to take action in order to resume whatever it was i was doing when the message popped up.

Overall I'm incredibly impressed, and for the time being have absolutely no interest in trying an Android or Win7 device. This does everything i could ever want.

Just up-graded from a 3.0 to 4.0. It's like going from dial-up to Broad Band! One happy camper!:)

Upgraded from 3g to 4. Last month got one from BestBuy but rteturned in a week bcos of the proximity issue.. Couldn't wait and wanted to try my luck again... got one from the same BestBuy yesterday.. and no Proximity issue.. with this one.. Liked the phone very much.. awesome screen and pretty fast compared to 3G .

My 1st iPhone

Had mine for 4 days now. Sold an HTC Desire to get this and i have to say i'm not disappointed. Everything just seems right and everything about it screams quality. I read all the reviews and saw all the news about the "issues", but thankfully mine hasn't got any of them. Very impressed! :)

I couldn't wait to see if the mythical Verizon iPhone was real. Bought a pair last week and couldn't be happier. I would have loved to get one earlier, but the last 15 months of wanting has made the purchase that much better. It is a life-changing experience.

i lived with an android for a little while after a 3gs, and it was a nice change... but going back to IOS with i4 was great

Lol k yeah they are pretty small things. First of all with the battery, most ip4 owners would agree but one thing that we know is that the battery takes around 70% of the space inside the phone, and making it bigger would only increase size, and particularly, thickness. We all know that apple hates thick electronics.

Secondly, a home button is a home button. :p

Lastly, most ip4 owners would again agree, and two speakers (one on top, one below) would deliver awesome surround-sound style games and music, like when you put the headphones in. Then again its a phone, NOT a gaming console.

Above all, it would be rather nice if apple added those things to its ip5.
