First International iPad 2 Online Sales Begin With 2-3 Week Shipping Estimates

Gah I was able to add a 32gb white ipad 2 + cover + AV cable to the basket in the danish store, but when checking out now it just says theres an error and im sent back to the store :(

Waiting till 2 am.. Ill probably drop by reseller tomorrow a few hours before 5pm and see how the lines are, if too big I'll have to opt out since I have a meeting with my project group and advisor at 5pm @_@ but if the lines are short, I may have to say Im going to be a bit late XD
 
I've just ordered a 64GB white in the store (Switzerland)...15.04.2011 it would be sent and 21.04.2011 delivered...i guess it would arrive earlier. ;)
 
Yea I see that all the stores are pretty much selling it now.. except for the danish one ?! What the heck D:

Yo mate, all the countries OUTSIDE the US have their pre-order shipping time started at 3-4 weeks, so there isn't any 'slipped' shipping times.

It's still 3-4 weeks shipping time here in NZ. ;)

Oh and lines are starting to form outside stores as well. Nothing as epic as the one in the States, of cuz. XD

I just seem to get endless error message - "Oops! An error has occurred during your session. Please return to Store Menu to Continue shopping" after I click 'place my order'. It's very frustrating. I put it down to shear weight of traffic. Anyone else having this problem with the UK site?
 
I get the same crappy error message in the german store, have been trying for 30 minutes now, I think I'll just go to bed....pretty pissed that is...
 
I can't even get past the point were it asks for my Apple log-in now without the same problem. Argh!!!!!

Yep exactly the same issue, off to bed I go, best wait till the morning....
 
can't check out on UK store, says oops error and send me back to the store page.

What a shame! I'm trying since the buttons appeared at 1.27pm. First, I got through the whole process several times, got the error message during order approval. Now, even the login with my Apple ID is nearly impossible ...
 
Sounds the same in Germany too by the comments. Wouldn't mind, but I've been trying since 12:30. Sigh - I suppose I should have known it would have been as bad as this. Question is, how long do you keep trying before you give up and go to bed? I like most people have work tomorrow and will it really be better in the morning?
 
Same **** here

Im allso in Denmark, and seems like when i try and use the /dk store, it sends me to a .uk store insted. Cuz everything is on English.. So when i try the .no site then it works, it has .no language and what ever..
 
Managed to order by turning on the '1-Click' setting. Others have had success this way too. Best of luck to everyone else - the whole Apple store website tonight has been an awful experience.
 
Ridiculous.

Cool that the AppleStore gets overloaded @ 2 am by introducing a famed product... come on.. this is absurd.

Have been trying > 100 times: "https://store.apple.com/nl/s_error"

I have had enough of this. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

How crappy can online purchasing be.

After one hour, this worked for me, too.

What a shame! Wont get my iPad with their first shot, now ...

Yes, 1-Click worked for me finally, after over an hour of Oops! at the Italian Store.. 2 - 3 weeks

Nope nothing here.. Will take up to 90 minutes to get to you

Yeah, exactly. And now the store is offline (at least the order status pages). Awesome ...
