Don't be so afraid...get out...live a little.
6 of my relatives got covid. 4 Friends and 2 of my business suppliers.
2 of them died. The other 4 have recovered but spent from $8k to $21k on medical care.

go queue in line, live a little. Yeah right. I won’t go to public places except if it’s really important, and standing in line for buying an iPhone is the least I want to do.

I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have ordered the Max. I just wanted the best camera system you can get in an iPhone, and maybe even in any phone. The last big iPhone I had was the iPhone 6 Plus, which was the first big one from Apple. It was the worst iPhone I ever had, mainly because it only had 1GB of RAM and the UI would freeze and stutter a lot and apps would crash. I think it could barely run that 1080p display. But also because reachability wasn't as good back then, and there was no option to shrink the keyboard for one-handed use. Hope this one is better.

I also kinda wonder if in a few years they'll be able to fit the same camera system into the regular iPhone Pro, kinda like how only the Plus iPhone had dual lenses at first until they could shrink the internals down to fit more.

Anyone else planning to try 5G, and then turn it off? Don't see the need for it sucking my battery all day. Is it possible to setup an automation to turn 5G back on if you're away from home? Otherwise I don't think there will be much speed improvement where I live. I'm most looking forward to having a Qualcomm modem which means I'll probably get a stronger T-Mobile signal.
Why the second guessing? It has the best camera system in any iPhone and definitely the best video for any phone. All the things you didn’t like about the 6 plus have been massively resolved in this phone. Do you actually have it yet? If not, look forward to your new phone, I know I am, it’s gonna be amazing!

That’s amazing. I know only 1 person who’s gotten it and she told me it was like the cold. Both of our experiences are anecdotal, but meh. Be safe and be cautious, do what’s best for you and good luck.

That’s truly horrifying. I’m so sorry to hear! Are you in Australia? We have extremely low case numbers (0 new cases for the last few days) and life has somewhat resumed with some alterations. I picked up my phone in store this morning. They actually had better covid regulations than other retailers around. Strict social distancing in queue’s, temp taken, strict customer limits in store, products being wiped down between customers and mandatory face mask use and hand sanitizer. Felt very covid safe!

Can't wait to get mine. My first new iPhone in almost 5 years.

Time to retire the trusty SE. A tried and tested design that has thankfully transitioned over to the new iPhone 12 Mini.
I <3 my old SE. Its still a great little phone. If work didn't provide me a iPhone 11 as standard, i would have considered the 12 mini for myself.

Already got an email confirmation my 12Pro Max is already waiting for me at my local Apple Store. For those paranoid with Covid, there is nothing to worry about. You have to select a time slot for your pickup. When you get there they will check your temperature, everyone wears masks and you are in and out of the store within minutes.

They actually will even run it out to you if you’re just picking up the phone. No need to even go in the store which is nice.

SHAMEFUL I’m still waiting on my Gold 12 Pro and people are already getting the Max. Verizon says I should be getting it on Nov 18th but nothing has even moved. Thinking abt switching to the Max.

When did you pre-order the phone? I know of several co-workers that have not gotten their launch-day iPhone 12 Pro yet.

Verizon directly. I’m nervous about switching since someone where says there’s a couple hours of delay before the upgrade shows again. Idk what to do at this point other than wait.

Will VZ have any units in store tomorrow?
