6 of my relatives got covid. 4 Friends and 2 of my business suppliers.
2 of them died. The other 4 have recovered but spent from $8k to $21k on medical care.

go queue in line, live a little. Yeah right. I won’t go to public places except if it’s really important, and standing in line for buying an iPhone is the least I want to do.
Sending love to you and my friends in OZ I had Covid and am only 40 years old and it sucks. Hope everyone gets better!

Just got my iPhone 12 pro max and I was a bit nervous reading the reviews it might be too big coming from an iPhone X . I’m finding it great not too big at all I am 6ft 2 with big hands mind. Think I’m really gonna love this phone

I'm in the same situation. My 12 pro max is out for delivery today. Coming from a X. I'm 6'4" with big hands so I like your comment.

I've got the iPhone 12mini!
It has this amazing feature to be able to reach all corners of the display!

Brings me back to the days when I upgraded to the oversized iPhone 6 and had to suffer until the iPhone SE(1) release..
Finally!

Cue the 'It's HUGE' posts.
Oh, I'm sure we'll see quite a few.

I'm expecting my Pro Max today but I do already have Apple's clear MagSafe case. I compared that to the case that is currently on my 11 Pro Max and it's pretty much the same size. My 11 Pro Max case is a bit wider because of the phone and case's curvature, the height is the same and thickness is the same (with possibly fractions of mm difference).

My point is for those who always use a case on the phone, the real comparison is with a case on, not without, because that's how we experience the phone, and as cases come in all varieties, the end result is a 12 Pro Max could vary from the 11 Pro Max in different ways depending on which case you wind up with, even if you stay with the same manufacturer and case model.

Still too big for me. Quite heavy too (coming from SE1)

Can't reach top portion of the screen one handed comfortably (only possible with awkward shuffling).

Really wanted to love this phone - it looks beautiful and is blazing fast. But one-handed phone use is too useful to give up. Unfortunately back to SE1 for me.

(I realise this is likely a pretty fringe opinion)

Arrived at 7:30am!!! I do appreciate quick delivery but it’s a bit early

I don’t understand why most people get the blue version but I guess it’s a personal taste. Black/graphite for me always pls.

My 12 Pro Max is currently in the process of transferring data from my old phone. Very excited to start putting the cameras through their paces. I'm going from an 11, and so far it doesn't seem _that_ much bigger to hold, it just grips different with the flat sides.

I honestly don’t think Apple is going to go back to a new 4 inch design. That ship has sailed off and left some people stranded on the island.

You might as well try to adjust to it sooner rather than later. Just my 2 cents.

Wow, that's the US health system for ya!!!! Unimaginable in the rest of the free world.

Australia is a great country, I've visited and have friends who live there.

But its not without its problems. Racism is also an issue there, like in the US. Things are noticeably more expensive there too. Like the iPhone. Don't get me wrong, great place overall, but not perfect. Also everything is literally trying to kill you. Snakes. Spiders. Drop bears. Etc.
LOL...I've never been there, but 'drop bears' are not a real thing! Though the idea is hilarious.
