Not switching. Am I not allowed to criticize Apple? Will you be switching tech brands since you're feeling ripped off?
I certainly would if I felt that way - and stat!

I'd hate it if they included a charger. I already pretty much have charger in every room.I’m all for protecting our planet and environment, but Apple is just using that as a perfect excuse to remove accessories and rip us off.
Mother Nature said its best to remove the charger from the box for the environment. Oh no, it’s
totally not to increase our profit margins!
It was only a suggestion, which I agree.
I have 6 of them now, none have failed so far, been buying them since introduced. No products are 100% reliable but I can guess it would happen. Can always grab an old 20 watter from the “cable” drawer.Heh. The iPhone in the unboxing video looks almost exactly like my blue 12 Pro Max until you turn it on and see the Dynamic Island and start playing with the extra side button.
Anyhow, I decided to skip this generation and wait for the iPhone 17 Pro Max with the updated FaceTime and telephoto cameras and sensors, and hopefully smaller Dynamic Island.
I have had some Anker chargers die out of the blue. It seems like they are not quite as well built as the Apple ones.

I’ve heard that the iPhone 17 will use Samsung displays and Samsung cameras. The next Samsung will be using the next generation snapdragon which is faster than the A18 Pro. Rumors say that the next iPhone will be a rebadged Samsung with Apple logo and A19 processor and will be positioned below the S26 ultra.I heard that in the iPhone 17 Apple is considering plans to simply slap a shipping label on the phone with no box to make it more carbon neutral.
I really don't understand what people expect. Outside of various folding phones that some of us are 0% interested in, nearly everyone is doing variations of their own design style. The smartphone is an established genre, similar to how flat panel televisions, Computer monitors, tablets, ETC are.Similar to the unboxing of the iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15...with a bonus, less accessories for the money. Yay! 😂
People clowning on this company.

How dare you to point out any weaknesses of Apple. All Apple does is in the best interest of you. It’s the most innovative, environmental friendly company in the world and has human rights written in it’s dna.Not switching. Am I not allowed to criticize Apple?

They are selling phones to a AT MINIMUM billion people a year.
Yep, would love to see everyone holding their wallets tight this year because there isn’t much to look out for at Apple.
It’s good to see that preorders have declined 27% related to preorders last year. This years updates feel indeed as a total ripp off. Hope the declining sales will awake Timmy and his shareholders.
So I applaud anyone holding their wallet tight for a better Apple. It takes courage 😜
That's fine that you feel ripped off. I certainly wouldn't voluntarily let a tech company rip me off.
Except they offer much better technical specifications. Please compare them to the latest iPhones 😎I really don't understand what people expect. Another example of a "Tired" design.

They are the size and shape they are because people buy them. Too small, they don't sell, too big, they don't sell. Folding does sell as it is New but I wouldn't be surprised to see it level off after adoption of gadget seekers reaches full saturation, especially if devs don't come out with compelling apps that take advantage of the size / space.
Some like it to get willingly ripped off 😎That's fine that you feel ripped off. I certainly wouldn't voluntarily let a tech company rip me off.

Just because they are “killing it financially” doesn’t mean everyone is super happy about what they’re doing and how they are doing it. Opinions have more nuance than that.
I REALLY want an iPhone 16 Pro that would have the same cameras, be the size of the iPhone Mini and have a Thunderbolt capable port!Or more expressing frustration than “clowning”
I’d love to give them more money if I could get a new iPad mini and iPhone mini
I’m tired of them homogenizing everything down to the same basic product across all the lineups

We will see what the decline is in a few days. My conjecture is >30% in the USA and >50% in Europe and China.Hah! That 27% decline is conjecture by Kuo.
Please feel free to enlighten me on how they are better for how I use them.Except they offer much better technical specifications. Please compare them to the latest iPhones 😎

It's a bit like how fIt's getting a bit austere these days. You're buying a luxury priced product, it should feel like it. Not, like the priority is "howcheapenvironmentally friendly can we make this". Mostly you want it to arrive in good condition with these thinner boxes (but I'm sure they have good engineers for that).
Huawei has dethroned Apple out of the top 5 this year. Since the new iPhone 16/16pro’s can’t compete on technical specifications and Apple Intelligence won’t arrive till somewhere in 2025, I see a further decline for Apple.People clowning on this company.

Just recently they thought…wait? Maybe we should get rid of the 100% useless and 99.9999% unused stickers we include in the boxes of every single product?
