That's very clever as O2 are not accepting ANY pre orders and Carphone Warehouse are also not taking pre orders for the iPhone 4S on O2. They will for other networks though.
I just pre ordered mine as an upgrade with O2 from the carphone warehouse (UK) and they said it would be delivered either tomorrow or thursday

They are taking pre orders for O2 contracts on their website.
Not that I can see they aren't. They will for all other networks bar O2. I would love for someone to prove me wrong as I'd pre order in an instant

Argh! I ordered mine at like 5am on preorder day and it still says processing!

Mine is "Preparing for Shipment" with "Delivers Oct 14 via Standard Shipping" but I feel like it is already shipped but they did not updated the site.

I just spoke to an apple rep about the same thing. She said that apple has warehouses in different areas in the U.S. So for a Friday delivery, we should be getting notices by tomorrow. So don't worry, be happy

I ordered mine on Friday UK and on the Order Status page on Apples website it says that my phone has been dispatched. How do I get the tracking number for UPS?

Because the shipping company screwed up. Last time they get Apple's business I'm sure.

They were yesterday. Not today though. Probably sold out of their allocation.
Does it say: Processing Items Dispatched: Ships by October 14th ? Mine does, and has said this for a few days. Once it dispatched then you'll get the tracking email.
Totally... It says ships by 14th and that it has been dispatched.

Damn...... I can't deal with uncertainty... that's why I pre-ordered mine from my local best buy store and I'll get in line on Friday at 4:00 AM.
I don't think it has been dispatched then. Look at the message above yours. The wording is a little confusing.
