Wait... why is there a faint transparent stroke around the logo and the text "iPho... JK.

Anywho... correct me if I'm wrong... but if you compare the box image from Apple's site and the recently emerged white box (both below)...

... doesn't the black one here seem out of proportion? Then you have that whole shadowing ordeal. Possibly fake.

One of my first reactions after seeing the box image on Apple's site when it went live was... oh, its wider/fatter this time around.

I hope Apple would allow us to order the unlocked version soon and not in October

A friend of mine (works for Fedex) has told me that there are agreements in place between UPS and Fedex - UPS delivers to the states, Fedex then delivers door to door. Same with UPS and USPS in some cases.

Bottom line, I'm pretty damn sure it'll be Fedex.

Last year, UPS delivered to my door. All previous iPhones and other Apple purchases arrived via Fed Ex (and most originated in China).

I checked Fed Ex site and didn't see anything, yet when I went to UPS and did the reference tracking I found my tracking number. WOW it's still in Hong Kong. Hope it arrives Friday like it says!

Interesting. My 4s came via Fedex as well as both iPads. I guess we won't know until Friday, eh? So far only UPS shows anything for me, Fedex is a no-go. At least I know it's in Kentucky for now!
 
the addisson, IL iphones must be guarded by a barbed wire fence and guard towers. no accidental shipments there

I would not talk about Jobs or Ive like that. Ive/Cook and the design of the retina macbook and this phone is why many cont. to follow. Its a great design and they are the cutting edge. You may want to take design 101 again. Youll find that aesthetics is only a little part in overall product design.

Haters gonna Hate! and if the design isn't broken then don't fix it! Apple has never been the company to go with the trends. They have always set them.
