So when will demo units be in the store? Obviously sometime on or just after the 19th, but what about between the 12th and then?

That's where your 6+ is gonna have to live…no way it'll comfortably fit in a pants pocket with a case on it while sitting… :p

Yes the 6+ will fit in side of slacks, cargo shorts, and jean front pockets.

My wife and I went to Best Buy to size up similarly sized phones and there was no issue putting them in any of our pockets.

People do realize that many phones are already this big or bigger and already fit in people's pockets right?

Now, if you are into skinny jeans you may be in trouble. I can't vouch for that though since; luckily, I don't have to worry about that.

Here we go!

For those arguing about the plane. China Southern operates varous B-777 cargo aircraft and some airbus A300 cargo variants.

Who's SO impatient that they're printing a PAPER iPhone? LMAO.

Wait, folks - it's only a matter of a few days, and if you still can't wait, ask someone to 3D print you a pocket tester :D

First iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Shipments Reportedly Land on U.S. Soil

That's fair, unlike the PS4 which was developer in Japan, but launched in Japan 3 months after the US release. I felt for them.

*shock* A product being released in a week was shipped to the US?!? HOLY CRAP!

C'mon guys, this is Silly.

In Similar exciting news I am waiting for an amazon delivery of some AA batteries and a Charger.

Slow news day?
Not at all.

This is news you can use. When your tiny shipment from Amazon is delayed, you'll know that the 10 million iPhones that Apple is shipping are probably at least a contributing factor.

The 5 inch Samsung is still smaller than the 4.7 inch iPhone.

Here we see a 4.7-inch iPhone 6, 5-inch Galaxy S4 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6.

That does not work for "close" - apps like twitter use an X in the left corner.

My thumb CAN NOT reach the edge of the phone on the 4.7 iPhone - without almost dropping it on the floor.

Close what? Devs can update their apps to take advantage however they'd like?

Perhaps I just got used to the size because I don't have an issue. My palms are kind big but I have somewhat short fingers.

It isn't about being impatient. It's about figuring out which size you want to preorder.

Your logic is unsound. A few display models won't get stolen this week versus when it is on sale. A store is more likely to get broken into if they can get to the stock room and grab boxes of phones, which would not be there until next week.

Nice t r y.

When the stock arrives at stores there will be security guards on duty 24/7 for the first few days. They have done this year after year.

And year after year, due to security (including from the hordes that would come in to look) they don't put out displays early.

Here's what it comes down to, it's a phone. It's not an new kidney or an iron lung. You aren't suddenly going to be handsome, fit and rich because you have one but only if you get it the first day. If you need to see it before you buy it, then you will wait. Heck all of you around here are always harping that you shouldn't buy from the first shipment because they are 'always' rushed and have more issues so why would you be getting worked out about getting it on launch day anyway. I mean you don't want a 'known' crap one right

Dude, that's not a cargo aircraft. That's a passenger-carrying A380. As far as I know, Airbus has not made a cargo variant of the A380 yet.

Airbus began accepting orders for the A380-F, but has since suspended the project due to production issues.

The fact that 4.7" iPhone 6 is still freaking larger than 5" phones (like S5 and Nexus 5) makes me throw in a towel and sit out this upgrade cycle. It is simply ridiculous that Apple assumes that overall size is so MUCH LESS important than thinness.
