Hopefully we can see side by side comparisons on Youtube soon.Whoa. Looking forward to some real world experience reviews
Even if we can not use the M1 Macs for our work anymore (we need Windows X86 comaptibility) - I will test it and use it at home.
Not on my MBP install in the US it wasn't. What appeared was what is on the half-closed Mac in the first pic in the article and what Apple have usually showed in presentations - a garish, stylized technicolor thing in orange/red.It is the default Big Sur wallpaper.
No it isn'tIt is the default Big Sur wallpaper.
Yeah what's up with that? Coming tomorrow maybe?Still no reviews though?

My thoughts as well.It would be really fun to have one of these to test out, but I'm not going to shell out to be a guinea pig for the next year! I'll gladly wait. Seems promising, though, especially if these are the lower-end configs only. My biggest gripe is the RAM but I think they'll address that later.
My understanding is they neglect it because of several reason, for instance, they were preoccupied with building the spaceship, Joni not interested in his job anymore amongst other reasons.Dawn of a new era. Very exciting. And after years of neglict, it’s nice to see Apple taking the Mac seriously again. (The tell has been it’s the only product they have to say how much they love it, how they really, really love it, every single time it’s mentioned in a keynote.
Now please dump the Touchbar. It was a bad idea at conception, and has not gotten better. Innovators learn from their errors, so should Apple.
