First Wave of Space Black, Leather Loop and Modern Buckle Apple Watch Orders ...

calm down.. just update everyone in 2-3wks of having it. And I am speaking for myself like many other have and can back up my thoughts. Its a great piece of tech but the novelty wears off fast. I use the fitness features more than anything on the watch. Everyone will have different experiences... And you're wrong with thinking your don't "Need" any device. A lot of devices are needed in everyday life (cellphone, computer, medical tech devices, etc.) just depends on your life and what's "needed" to sustain and keep it going.

my opinions on the watch are just that an opinion. friends ask if they should purchase one and I'm honest, it's cool but after about 2wks it wears off and its either a fitness watch or time piece. Enjoy your watch when it arrives but if you regular wear designer watches, post your feedback after about 2wks.

Considering I've had mine since launch (the 24th) that is over 2 weeks buddy, this is another watch that's a gift I'm waiting for. And I have and did update people. By the way,I am calm.... I still feel like the watch is a great purchase to me. So after incorporating the watch into my lifestyle,I feel I need it.

It doesn't mean everyone will, but for me,I love it.

My issue was that in your earlier post you never made it clear it was your opinion that you were sharing. That's why I said something.
"I feel bad for anyone who paid over 600.00" <<<<direct quote.
Since you've now made it clear it's just your opinion you're sharing, then you are entitled to that. On to the next post....

Since launch buddy

42MM Space Black SS with Link

Card was just charged $74.45. How long after the card verification charge (which is what I'm assuming that was) did your watch actually ship? Just trying to get a handle on when I can expect it. I ordered it at 12:08 am April 10th.

Still waiting on my Space Black Stainless Steel. Order went in at 2:18 AM (18 minutes in). I was pleased to see that someone who ordered 12 minutes in got theirs shipped, so I felt encouraged maybe mine would make the cut too. So far no further progress and my estimated shipping is still June. Hopefully it's wrong.

I received my confirmation email 5 minutes in, and I'm still waiting for mine. Central Coast, CA.

There seems to be those with :02 still waiting. I'm :03 UK with no movement. I think though that as with all f the watches 38 are moving faster?

Very nice! Remind me again which one you are getting today? I've read so many blogs I can't remember. I'm in search of anyone getting the pink modern buckle.

I ordered my wife the SS Soft Pink MB a couple minutes past midnight PT (I deleted confirmation email because it was to be a surprise gift, but I think it couldn't have been more than 3 minutes past). I then ordered my 42mm SS Milanese Loop (probably 10 minutes past). Mine has been delivered, but hers has seen zero movement. Ugh. I was given the 5/13-5/27 delivery window for hers, but was hoping that it would come on the early side of that window since I ordered so early. From what I can tell, the Soft Pink was not a common order- it's good to see others out there expecting them.

Let me know if there's any movement on any of the 38mm SS Soft Pink MB that you've seen.

This is exactly what I ordered as well (same delivery dates also). Size Medium. There has been no movement for anyone for the Pink color as far as I can tell from these blogs (or brown either, I've seen some black and blue movement). I don't understand why if people keep saying it was the least common one. I also ordered my husbands Space Gray, Black, Sport a minute before mine and his was the most popular I think and we got that on launch day. Fingers crossed for something soon!!

My aunt ordered 38 SS Blue Modern Buckle on the 10th, a few minutes after midnight. It hadn't budged. I told her 2 weeks ago to place a new order for 38 SS Black Sport Band (she had ordered BSB as a separate purchase on the 11th).

The new order arrived last week and she canceled orders from the 10th and 11th.

She'll order the blue MB when it becomes available. However, all MB bands as (individual purchase) are stillI showing UNAVAILABLE on Apple's website.

This is what I keep thinking about doing but afraid it will end up back firing and the day I cancel my existing order it would have shipped. And if I keep both they both might ship on the same day necessiating a return and also a lot of extra money charged to my card. I ordered a black modern buckle small apple watch within the first minute of the store being up but still no budge. My partner ordered his an hour later (large black sport apple watch) and his arrived a week or so ago. I ordered a black sport band and milanese band which both arrived already. Had I known, I would have ordered the sport band watch instead.

No,that's my 42mm SS with classic leather band. I'm waiting for today's delivery of a 38mm SS with a black modern buckle.

Waiting on the same, and I ordered within the first minute of the store going up. Something tells me it will be at least another week. First apple product I haven't had on day one. I've been thinking about getting into mechanical watches and as much of an apple guy as I am and will be for life, I'm thinking like the iPad maybe the watch isn't the right fit and mechanical watches and a fit bit and my iPhone may be the best route.

I wonder if the very unusually long wait will cast the same doubts on others. Normally, when a product arrives we are all so excited we forget the wait but since this is a model one with a lot of bugs, I don't think it will hold the same excitement. Hopefully I'm wrong and it comes sooner than I change my mind.

Either way best of luck to everyone who ordered!

I do,I truly hope yours comes sooner than later. I got my second Apple watch for my girl yesterday. She's going to love it. It's totally worth the wait.

I know it's easy for me to say that, since both of my orders have arrived, but you'll love it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Let's hope you get it soon!

It looks better in person, for sure!

Wikipedia: "The United States dollar (sign: $; code: USD; also abbreviated US$ and referred to as the dollar, U.S. dollar, US dollar or American dollar)"

Just saying ;)

Since when is Wikipedia used as a legitimate source? It can be modified by almost anyone. It's authenticity has been questioned by experts in their respective fields multiple times.

But if you'd like to give me 40 singles to break a 10, I'm down :)

Who appointed you as the MacRumors grammar police? (On which note: "Since when has Wikipedia been used").

The OP's intention and meaning was perfectly clear. Plenty of people - whether "correctly" or not - sometimes refer to US dollars as "American dollars". Get over it.

I feel bad for anyone who spent over 600$ for the Apple Watch. It's not but the novelty wears off fast. Like I told a friend the Apple Watch is like the iPad Mini and iPod Touch, it's there if you want one. It's not a must have/need device. It's a perfect fitness watch, but if you tend to wear designer watches learn fast that that Rolex is a lot nicer than a piece of tech on your wrist.

I don't wear designer watches, or any watch since high school. We got two because of the activity tracking. It's really useful for my work.
