Genuinely frightening stuff. If the government has a backdoor key, it'll definitely exist somewhere else where money is there to be made.....
Not withstanding the barrage of invective likely to come my way, I support this in principle. Furthermore, telling me what I deserve or not deserve in terms of liberty and freedom is not in your gift my friend.
anyone that wants to destroy my way of life via terrorist activities, I want them caught at all costs, if that includes, infringing on my privacy, I might be ok with that.
Any citizen who supports this does not deserve freedom and true liberty.
No, but I think that’s when newscasters on cable tv had to learn how to pronounce it.Didn’t all this encryption proliferation started when the whistle was blown that our governments were spying on every citizen regardless of whether they were under investigation or not?
Pretty much this! Heck clever terrorists, or at least those paying them, would insist on low tech methods or even sms and use coded language. As an aside, the phrase "coming in through the backdoor" is a good illustration of what governments want to do to us.The Snowden files and Wikileaks shows that government spying is mainly used to economically benefit the US and its allies, and little to do with stopping terrorists.
The terrorists already know/assume that everything is tracked so they rely on low tech means to get their messages across.
Anyone caught transmitting thing via public channels is just a low level dummy who doesn't know anything.
Do you really think terrorists and other unsavory characters won't just develop their own encryption techniques anyway, making this entire proposition moot?
I deserve a cake, but it currently doesn't exist. How can they deserve it if it doesn’t exist?
Another attempt to intrude our privacy. NO THANK YOU. Privacy is a big issue in this time in age that we live in. I'm sick and tired of the government slowly taking away our rights and invading our privacy. We need to put our foot down and say NO. Enough is enough.
When Bush was president, he already passed the Patriot Act that allows the NSA to spy on every citizen. He was able to do this because of the staged 9/11 by our very own government. What sort of people are in our American Government? It's obvious people that truly hate America and want to destroy it from within.
The world is getting more and more corrupt. We need to regain our country back and make the world a better place.
Say no to those evil and satanic liberals and democrats who want to destroy the world.

I shower just like every other hygiene minded citizen but wouldn't want a camera in my bathroom on the off chance it would catch a psycho-type killer. At first I thought horrible idea but then I started thinking about what information of mine would be uncovered and thought there wasn’t much if anything I’d like to hide.
Wondering what others are afraid of having exposed (in general terms)?
I’d feel even better about it if our government wasn’t as corrupt as it generally across the board.
What am I missing? Any insight as to what the average law abiding and good person citizen is afraid of exposing?
Bank account information, pictures of my daughters and their locations, private work related conversations. At first I thought horrible idea but then I started thinking about what information of mine would be uncovered and thought there wasn’t much if anything I’d like to hide.
