It'd be cheaper to buy two normal iphones and tape them together.
Then you might want to schedule a colonoscopy for after the release. May as well kill two birds with one stone. If they don't call it Foldapple I'll lose my ****.
So, nine months? The problem is the plastic folding screen never last long - I have seen so many of those foldable screen cracks like biscuit in just 3/4 years.
I get what you're saying. I think what they means is that something. like the Samsung Flip unfolds vertically to become taller, while like the Samsung Fold or iPhoneBook unfold horizontally to become wider. You say '"Apple's first foldable iPhone is expected to have a book-like design that folds horizontally", to me a book has a vertical fold, not horizontal. Confused.
3 to 4 years not 3/4 of a year.So, nine months?
I agree. The spine of the book (or book like design) is vertical, but the folding action happens from left to right, or horizontally. Kind of confusing wording...I get what you're saying. Is this sarcasm?
Do you think Samsung has better trade in deals than apple?
Using exchange rate I'd assume at least $3k CAN, Plus all that yummy sales tax looking at around 3.5k. For a smartphone. That can break relatively easily. Which cost even more to protect with a warranty. Can't imagine how much in Canadian dollars. The Vision Pro started at $5K here.
I think he industry has settled on Flip and Fold to describe the two different types of folding phones.I agree. The spine of the book (or book like design) is vertical, but the folding action happens from left to right, or horizontally. Kind of confusing wording...
and not only do we think you're gonna love it! But your children can take over your device payments when you pass away!
Does Apple accept your first born as payment? Not interested in a folding phone, I just want to unload a sassy teen.😙😁Some people will pay it, most will not.
Half of a month’s rent is a nontrivial investment in my book. 😬Why do people spend time and energy moaning about the fact that a feat of engineering will cost around $2,000 when their rent is probably $4,000 and payable every single month?
That's basically a Steve Jobs quote.Yet another answer to a question no one has asked. Oh, wait a minute...that's another way of saying, "We create things nobody knew they wanted and now can't live without."
Don't you love marketing BS?
Sure, but that's not what was used in the OP from MR.I think he industry has settled on Flip and Fold to describe the two different types of folding phones.
Cool. When I traded in my 12PM for my 15PM, they gave me $830. I think iphones hold their value better that will probably result in better trade in value for them.Yep. When I ordered my Fold 6 it was 400€ off for trading in some old AF phone, 1 year Samsung Care Plus for free, free memory upgrade 512 GB for the price of the 256 GB version for a limited time, free case and you got X % off on Galaxy watch and Buds ordered at the same time and a free additional watch band on top
Could be less in Canada. You all can import directly from China with no tariffs. Can't imagine how much in Canadian dollars. The Vision Pro started at $5K here.
They will almost disappear don't worry its already happening, just look at the Honor Magic V3, the crease is almost non existent.I might be one of the few who would pay the price, but... They have to absolutely solve the crease issue. Like 100% solved. 5 years from buying it, I don't want a hint of a crease.
