Yeah, but i don't seem too confident in it seeing both Lenovo and LG versions of a rollable.

I'm seeing alot of chatter online on skipping 1st gen Ultra and going for the 2nd gen... given that 2nd gen will be much more solid as a product. And how most 2nd gen products in the past from Apple have always been way better than the original, but presently I don't see the 2nd gen being immensely better.

But those who value having a telephoto lens... could be the thing that sells folks on the 2nd gen, I just haven't prioritize camera on a phone. Have accepted that if I want the best camera... its not gonna be in a foldable, as long as I'm capable of capturing the moment that's been enough for me.

Give me a decent camera I'm okay, it has never been the must thing for me. Another thing that has me pausing is the rumored no Face ID

Curious, do you use a tablet alongside your TriFold? Because if I was to get the TriTold... there would be no need to have my 13 inch iPad.

Yeah, I would use it specifically for the Fold. But then I initally had my eye on Khadas Mind xPlay… it was shown off in the DeX subreddit. Was thinking of using that with the Fold (reminds me of having a Surface Pro)… but it’s going to be a toss up between buying that keyboard ($200) or the xPlay ($400).

Ditto. Stopped using my 12.9" M1 iPad Pro after I got the Fold 4 (my first foldable). Eventually sold off the iPad Pro because it was just collecting dust.

I use the TriFold in tablet mode the majority of the time now and must say the battery life has been phenomenal. From the moment I wake until bedtime there's still 20% charge left. This includes having 3 apps open most of the time, watching videos during my lunch break, and even WiFi hotspot on for my MacBook during the workday when I'm in-office.

In regards to the Razr Fold I've watched a couple of videos today and it's interesting. I want to see more details on the software side of it. I like the battery and cameras. I think this phone and the iPhone fold are going to challenge Samsung and hopefully Google to push harder with their foldables.

Yea stylus looks cool and little carrying charger, I've always enjoyed Moto runs smoothly their tweaks and stuff close to stock Android. Updates previously were a mess so hopefully not the case now.

Samsung Fold 8 wide, some thoughts which we already knew as Samsung has to differentiate between models.

I was watching videos on my drive to work today LOL.. forgot to drop earlier

Hardware wise... its a no-brainer that the Rarz Fold is a winner, bigger battery... slightly bigger screen... better cameras. But I always make it known that Hardware is half of the equation... software is crucial as well. And I would choose Google over Razr... if Samsung was out the picture.

And it appears Google is working closely with Samsung bringing their exclusive features for Android 17 to Galaxy devices... so thats a greater advantage on the software side.

So on the last video that I posted I think the specs are going to be different which would make sense since Samsung wants to sell both foldables and give different options for people so that one doesn't outsell the other

Yeah, that's what I mention in my post above... that Google and Samsung are working closely together to bring Gemini to Galaxy devices. And then you have Samsung exclusively working with Perplexity... implementing that into Bixby, they are ahead of pretty much every Android maker except for Google.

100% agree with everything you said, we're both on the same page. And I'm ready to move over to widebody mode lol
