Don't sweat it man, people have alot worse than dual 1 GHZ.

I know, but I'm proud to be using all this power to help the medical world, I even sleep with its whirring on so I can get more numbers in, I think I'll install it on my dad's office macs with my username. (G3 233 upgraded to G4/400, will this help my numbers?)

Hm... G4 400 I think it can beat the deadline.

Anyway, what the hell is happening to the stats pages...
overclockers page --- updated main page, but not team specific page
Statsman --- hasn't updated since 6 PM yesterday
Macnn -- well updates every 3 hours but estimating 3,700-3,900/day, which is great, but with only one stats page kinda worrying... what about the other teams... I really have no Idea.

Yeah definately.

I'm the same, I've gotta G3 266 upgraded to G3 466 and it's pulling its weight along with an G3 400 iMac DV and an Athlon 850, so it's like a concerto of differently pitched whirrs with melodies of folding and rhythms of winmx/kazaa throughout the night:p
 
I have been folding with my PB400 and my PM450 (not very impressive I know) but I just added an Athalon XP2100, two Athalon 1.2 TB's , a VIA Eden 933, a Duron 650 and an iMac 800. By tommorow I should have it running on another TB 1.2, a PII 350, a dual PII 300, an Athalon (Slot) 950, three pentium 100's, possibly an Athalon TB 1.4 (if I can get the ps working), one pentium 133 and possibly one DPXeon. It is a shame there is no sparc port. I am also going to try and get my friends to run it on their computers.

But if they acually get counted (wtf?) post about it because that would be extremly interesting (and ****ed up!) ;)

yeah they do count....well my pentium 200 always misses the deadline but my work units still count towards the total, just it takes forever to complete....i'm still on my 4th work unit now.
 
all these members getting more machines, my attempt at getting into the top 20 is looking very slim.......

Ha, I was 40ish at one time, now I'm dead 80th. Don't talk about how your not gonna pass people as often, thats like saying I just got the 1.25 GHZ and saying that you are disspointed that you didn't get the 1.33 GHZ. :p

Edit what are your talking about?

There are 3 people you are gonna pass soon that would get you to 21 and 20 would be a a few weeks more.
 
I'm happy to be in 4th position and likely to take 3rd in the next couple of days! It's been a long road, but I'm finally there!
 
I was 10th for almost 2 days! Now I am 12th. I really am not one to check my team rank too often. I like to see what teams we are about to stomp as a whole. :D

By the way, we have delivered 4550 points so far today! We are slated to overtake 4 teams by the end of May!! 4!!! that is amost a team every week and a half!

Yes that is nice but I think the server lagged or something because a couple of other teams pulled off a lot of point in the past 24 hours too... oh well, great improvement.

It probably won't help matters if I said that I'll be adding an athlon xp 2800+ with 512mb of DDR333 ram to the fray though :D
 
I think its funny someone was teasing on MacAdict saying see ya in July, and they were like 'it won't happen', they were right after all, it's due to be May now!!! All in all I hope it's more friendly comp between the Mac teams as I'd like all the Mac teams to do better and show we are no joke.... Will be nice to pass a team called linux soon....Anyone think we can push the production up that little bit higher and become a top 20 team?

I'm applying for a provincial gov't job in their computer dept. If I get in, I'll see if I can convert them into folders. That could be alot of computers!

ha, well, we'll see what happens when I get my dual 970 this year :D

And I'll still try and get a few more machine in the mean time. I'd love to bring the MacAddict passing date just that much closer ;)

If you get it, let me have a job, I'm a recent computer science graduate with a first class, and did my intern year at CERN, inventers of the WWW ;) jobs are non existant here....

Yeah, were inching our way up... currently the passing date is the 29th. Bad news: General Mayhem is gonna leave a bad taste in my mouth tho... :(

It could be. I don't know what their setup is, or how much access I would have, but I'll see what I can do if I get the job! I just hope I can get the job, it's starting range is from $44,000-$57,000. That would be sweet!
