Ah, I wanted to know if you owned them or not, I wanted to play like 5 year old PC games... 🙄

Go C&C...

Original!😛

wow... is all I can say to owning all these comps.

no need for a summer job for me...mmm, ebay 😀

I work as a sys admin for UC Davis. I think most people who have the huge crunching numbers probably are in similar situations as me.

Plus I'm a sterotipical "works on/fixes PC's, USES a mac" switcher 🙂

it rocks getting points from machines you get paid to maintain. 🙂

And even better when your boss lets you take the points. 😉

Sure what you are looking for is stats at the Stanford Folding website. You then want to go to project summary. Your project number is 543. Here's a link to the page.

It looks like it's a 33 point Gromacs with a deadline of 15 days.

AH! 3 days left... I better leave my comp on overnight a few days!

Not to brag or anything but those 33 point gromacs take my Dual/GHz/DDR Powermac about a 24 to 36 hours each to do.

Ok I didn't realize it goes that fast, I only leave my on during the day while im playing MP3s and surfing the web.

Looking to do a switch with someone.

I have a P4 3.0ghz currently crunching dnetc and as you know its slightly inefficient for that. If anyone wants to do a switch...the P4 running folding in their name and a powermac of some sort running dnetc for me, give me a yell.

I am not sure what would be equal, but probably something around Dual 800.

Here is my e-mail address:

You would be amazed at how much more progress you will get at night. Also I log out and leave it at the login screen. That seems to speed things up a bit too. I get probably 1.5x as much work done in the time at night then I get during the entire day.

Looks like things are up and running again. 🙂

Hiccups like that always mess up the stats for a while, but we're still on track to pass Mac OS X by the end of the month.

Looks like everything was backlogged or cached durring that time as there was a huge huge spike of data right after the dip.

Yeah well stasts man says we are under 30k for week while overclockers says we are 90 points over that goal...

hmmmmpphh..

Yes well this being their first 'data not appearing' since their service began I guess they need to work out that glitch/bug.

And standford needs to work out that their stats sending servers blow.

Just did a li'l check and found this.

That is, ALL ol' fashioned Genome@Home data is lumped under Project 799.

According to folding.extremeoverclocking.com, we're already at 5900 for today. I don't know how we spiked so much, but I'm not complaining.

6,723.52 points. Is that a MacRumors record? And we already have over 1500 points started for the next round. Did someone give the folding team a ton of guarana and caffeine?

Gonna finish my 50 pointer tomorrow too...
