For Females which one are you ordering 6 or 6 Plus

Never called it a confirmation. In a thread yesterday I stated I felt that when all is said and done it would be 70% women using 6+ and 30% men. I would say the 6 will have 60% men and 40% women. IMHO

As you said, people should get what they feel comfortable with

Your math doesn't even add up. 70/30 and 60/40? So 110% of women and 90% of men?

Of course they do. :p

Cheeky bugger. lol

I'm getting the 6 in space grey (black?). My 5S is silver so I think I'll change it up a bit. My 4S was black, 3GS was white. I sense a pattern here. lol.

Also, probably best to stop responding to the troll. ;P

Good luck in life with your sort of thinking.

Short thinking? Really? Time will tell of I'm right or wrong on my assumption but At the end of the day. Who cares

Ok ma'am. It will be 50/50 does that make you feel better?

Actually it's a scientific truth that females on average have significantly smaller hands.

It's also a fact that woman carry purses

Don't make up numbers. Show me a link from Samsung where it shows majority of Note owners are men.

If that's your opinion that's fine but don't try to confuse people by stating it as fact

Zoom, right over the top of your head. I was making up numbers, just like you.

Now you're showing you're not to bright. You should stop embarrasing yourself.

What's wrong with the math? If there are 100 6+ phones, 70 will be women and 30 men. If there are 100 6 phones. 60 would be men and 40 woman.

Again just how I see it but please don't comment on the math

I stated that mine was opinion unlike you. Your the dumbest bright guy I know. Just like how you questioned the math

I think many men would want the 6+ for the added specs but most will end up with the 6 since they don't carry a purse. If you don't realize that I don't know what to tell you
I am getting the 6+ and I've no intention of carrying it in a purse because I prefer to have my phone on me, readily accessible and not buried under all the junk that my husband and the rest of the family sticks in there, thinking mom is the family pack mule. I've carried all of my phones in my pockets when at all possible. I rarely wear dresses. When I do, I often just hold my iPhone. I've tried carrying it in a purse, but I keep having to get it out of there to snap a photo or video or look something up for the kids or consult something or the other it's just easier to hold it if I can't easily slip it in or out of a pocket.

So this may end up being a mistake. But the 5 was already the painful hip digging limit. The iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus are both going to force me into finding a new way of wearing/carrying them anyway. May as well go for the extras offered by the Plus and see what happens.

I'm not the only woman adverse to carrying a phone in purse. I see others doing like I do all the time at school or other the park. I just seem to be one of the few posting about it on a forum. I've tried talking to other women about their smartphones, but they do look at me like I am kind of creepy for even noticing their phones exist, so I've learned to keep talk about tech between me and my husband and male friends. Odd that it's that way.

Yes it does. 70+30=100 as does 60+40. What the OP is saying us that in the 6+ model, 70% of its users will likely be women and for the 6, 60% of its users will be men. What are you adding to get your number?

Wow, you really don't understand math. If you had 200 people, 100 women and 100 men, and and asked them to choose between the 6 and 6 plus, and according to your numbers 70 women would choose the 6 plus and 30 men would chose the 6 plus, there would be 30 women left and 70 men. There is now no way that 40 women could then choose the 6 as 70 have already made their decision. Simple math.

I'm the OP so please don't make me a part of this debate going on. I just started a thread to see what the women on macrumors were ordering.

If 70% have chosen the 6 Plus, you can't have 40% choosing the 6. There are only 30% left to choose.

OP can mean original poster of the post your talking about, also, not just the original poster of the thread. I was not referring to you, don't worry.

My mom is getting gold +.

^^ those numbers are unrelated. If you add them you will get nothing. And your example is plain wrong since you don't know whether 6 and 6+ will sell equally.

That's not what the post was talking about. The poster means OF THE USERS OF THAT MODEL. Separate percentages for each model.

Mine doesn't stay in the purse for long if at all either. it's always in my hand or goes into my back pocket or something. Particularly at work when you're walking around WITHOUT YOUR PURSE. I'm getting the 6 because I need to be able to use it with one hand. I multitask like crazy. Plus I have a mini.

You should know that there are quite a few women in this forum though it may not be clear, nor should it be nor matter but I get what you say about having fewer women to talk tech with. But we're always here :)

Dear God, people the original poster of the percentages was making a HYPOTHEICAL assumption. AND he/she us referring to the USERS OF EACH MODEL, not that an equal amount will sell on both.

Lol. Let me make this simple for you.

I sell 100 6+ phones. 70 women and 30 men

Then I sell another 100 phones the iphone 6 not the same people and 60 of those are men and 40 are woman

Admit you are wrong for once

Dear God, people the original poster of the percentages was making a HYPOTHEICAL assumption. AND he/she us referring to the USERS OF EACH MODEL, not that an equal amount will sell on both.

To further the explanation again, the post means that of the TOTAL USERS OF THE IPHONE 6+, 70% OF THOSE USERS ARE LIKELY TO BE WOMEN.

That's what I'm trying to explain, the ^^ was related to wxman2003, but there were couple of new posts before I posted the comment.

Thank God. Thought I was in the twilight zone for a moment.

Thanks for understanding. I didn't think it was that hard to follow but apparently it is for some

Your post only said it's a fact that women carry purses, not most women carry purses.

If I ask you a true or false question. What would you answer?

Here it goes. Do women carry purses true or false?

Very simple

Love the name doxielover! If it means dachshund lover... I have 2 myself, longhairs. Anyway, I think I'll be going with the 6, 16g space gray. Mainly due to finances and I think the 6+ would be too big
