iPhone Air For those getting the air

For me I watch the odd video or YouTube randomly in the morning or through the day. Like if someone sends you something or you’re bored. It’s mainly that - and the odd loudspeaker calls.
For watching anything else of course you’d use AirPods.
I cancelled the Apple MagSafe pack because it’s not that great. With third party ones you can charge them with MagSafe, charge other items, and they have more capacity.
For example a comparable anker etc has 5000mAH. There’s even ones that are 1/3rd thicker that are 10,000mAH. That’s because they use silicon carbide instead.
So I’m going to wait for those packs to get updated for the air - or for reviewers to check if they fit.
I like the idea of 5000-10000 available in another pocket or bag near by, or at least charged and ready at home for that day you’ll be out all day or staying over somewhere.
Keep in mind, that the Apple pack is specifically made to control charging heat (just like the prior MagSafe Battery Pack).
That’s a good point. If it’s A problem I’ll get one of those too.
Also I thought it’s a good idea to push the phone without any extra battery to see how it works for me first to get a baseline.
I’m one of those guys in games that keeps reloading my ammo even when it’s not near empty

I'm so unsure about the Air... I pre-ordered the 17 and think that as a long-time Pro user, I'll be happy with it. I can't imagine that the Air has the same battery life as the 16 Pro (which I own)... I just can't believe it. But I'm so curious to try it out and I really love the design of the Air. 😅 But for me, the difference is still a whopping 250€ compared to the base 17, which has better battery life and better cameras.
Same boat here. Coming from 16PM. something different. Orderd Air. second thoughts. orderd 17Pro. I had no complaints about the size of the pro max but wanted something new. But battery life yeah. Camera's is th point for me. I think before the pre order day, they should allow reviews on YouTube so that we can decide better.

The battery on the air is more than likely based on average use, not pro level, not power users; why so much comparison of the air to a Pro or Pro Max is very unfair, and I believe Apple made the 16 Pro statement as a point of reference and that's all. These phones are intended for two completely different markets.
I figured there'll be other options available at some point, I really don't know why I made the purchase because I don't use them for existing devices, I've bought a few over the years and they are heavy as all hell for one thing and will weigh down any handbag or pocket.

Lol, I normally use iPad or TV. I rarely use the iPhone for watching. Even a Pro Max is too small.
So yeah, iPhone speakers are a non-issue for me as long as it's loud and clear enough for FaceTime, speakerphone, etc.

I don't really agree. Only because I use my phone a lot don't means I need a Pro phone at all.
If anybody gets their AIR early, unlike ISPU's who are locked in to the 19th, definitely report in on first impressions!
I picked the Air for the new design and being lighter than the pros, l chose Sky Blue with 512GB storage. There maybe limitations, but I’ll adapt,

Might be an illusion but the shape of the Air box, does it look wider and flatter to anybody? Like not just the phone is thinner, but the box as well.

I guess those are the 17, and 17 pro’s. And then and Air. The Pro Max box will be even bigger than the airs.
