For those that do not like the iOS 7 UI..

I'm with you. I really didn't like it at all. Went back to iOS 6 Friday. I figured I could wait out the betas, wait for the 5S but instead I have decided I'm getting the S4 once AT&T stocks the 32gb or 64gb in white. Apple still has some time to impress me while I wait but from the keynote and the beta I think it's doubtful. I do think they did add some very cool things to the iPhone for sure, but personally I don't like it at all or the direction they are going. I may be back for the iPhone 6 or 7 since I'm still a huge Apple fan lol but for now ill be happy with my MBP, 2 AppleTVs and iMac but for a phone I will move elsewhere for now.

Is there a functional reason for the flat look?
No choice in phone size?
Microwaving/reheating/5s vs a actual new and better iPhone?
Seemingly little inovation and much stagnation.
The new Mac Pro is cool looking but is it practical cost wise, and will it be practical to get RAM and whatever else people will want to change or upgrade? And are most people switching to tablets and over sized laptops/all in ones/disposables?

Or has apple been penetrated by corporate ninjas with the orders to destroy apple from with in?

I am a Apple fan... but it seems my Apple joy is fading as all things must.

Why does everything have to be just functional? If I go in to a furniture store all the couches and chairs on display are "functional" but obviously there will be some I like more than others. And it has nothing to do with function. Every day people make product choices on a lot more than just utility.

Yeah, some are gimmicky, some aren't. A buddy of mine has the S4 and I've got to use it a lot and I really like it. Plus looking fwd to the change and something totally different. I've had the iPhone since the original launch and get the new one every year with their updates but want to switch it up for a bit.

I cannot imagine using this UI everyday, I love my 4S and while I was dreaming of a Flat UI style iPhone.. i never expected this. This is not flat, this is plain, boring, amateurish, ridiculous.
I can design a better home screen in an hour.

There are so many things wrong with the UI, i don't know where to begin. I'd prefer the previous UI with the new iOS 7 functionalities, than this UI any day.

I always looked to Apple for design, but this is unexpected.
I'm considering sending Tim Cook an email, maybe everyone who feels the same way.

I think someone needs to calm down! It's just a phone. How you can form this opinion after seeing 1 beta is beyond me!

I'm planning on waiting for a jailbreak and I plan to use my own icons or use other designer ones in Cydia, but I really thought that I would never have to jailbreak again after iOS 7.
It's ironic, now i'll be jailbreaking to style the UI instead of the functionality of the OS.

If heavy skeuomorphic design is bad, then god this is the extreme on the other end. Where is the middle ground?

How are you dealing with this?
