I'm still waiting on my 6s+ to get here, but my case just came today. My 5c inside the Zoogue case... I'm missing so much phone lol.
What kind of case did you get, @IphoneIssues

Started messing with the 3D touch today. Definitely going to be a two-handed action for me.

That's interesting. That's one place I definitely use it one handed. Even if it's for going to a selection. Instead of peeking and popping I just pop into it.

I can use it one handed in the same way I used my 5s, meaning I can rest it on my pinky, have 3 fingers on the back for support and still reach the upper corners with my thumb (yeah, long fingers). It took me a few hours to adjust though. After unboxing it, I just stared at it in disbelief thinking I made a mistake. Like, "Uh, this isn't a phone, it's the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. What the hell did I do? I can't actually drag this behemoth around. It's ludicrously heavy, too, almost two 5s (192g vs 117g). One hand operation feels like a dangerous balance act."

A few hours later it felt perfectly natural, and when I picked up my ancient iPhone 4 (which still sits in a 30-pin dock on a Sony clock radio and displays weather; that's all it does) I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that this was the iPhone only a few years ago. It now felt like an iPod Nano.

The only downside is that it's a bit slippery without a case. Not predictably slippery; it's more like... it feels perfectly secure in your hand and a split second later it strikes a sudden deal with gravity and plummets. So I think I'll get a silicone case... as if this thing needed to get any bigger and heavier. Oh well, all things considered, I'm still happy with my choice.

I think everyone planning to go with 6S+ should instantly stop thinking about one hand usability. It's not going to happen. This phone is not designed for that kind of ergonomy. It's designed for more pleasant content consumption experience and you will have to hold it with two hands most of the time.

True. I have no expectations of using it one-handed more than two-handed. I do have tiny baby hands though XD

Why make it a black and white issue? It's quite simple - if the size of your hands allows it, it can be used comfortably with one hand. If not, use two. This is how I use mine. I can also grasp an old iPad 3 by its edges with one hand. Should I not do that because of some rule that says it's not designed for that?

Don't take everything so literally. If you have big enough hand, then go ahead and use it with one hand. No problem. However, most people are not capable to do that. 6+ and 6S+ are not designed one hand usage on mind.

By shifting my grip occasionally I can comfortably use my 6S+ one-handed for everything except typing and pressing the top left corner of the screen. Most people don't use their iPhone 5/5S/6/6S one-handed 100% of the time either.

I assume you have much larger hands than I do.

To get my thumb to reach across to the corner like that and finger tips at the bottom I had to grip my lady's 6.

With my finger tips wrapped around like that my thumb gets to 2/3's the way across my 6plus from left to right when reaching to the corner. Even then the the bottom of my palm would touch the screen unless I'm being extremely careful.

But I agree that content consumption was/is the priority for the 6plus. It wasn't made to be used with one hand hence the reachability feature.

Looks like you're going through the same thing I did. Case, screen protector and everything came a week before I was even expecting the phone.

Grabbed this one: http://www.amazon.com/iPhone-New-Tr...8&qid=1444850847&sr=8-1&keywords=new+trent+6L

Rocking the silver plate, at the moment.

Wow, my hands aren't quite big enough to wrap around like that o_O

If I could, I'd do that all the time.

Only got mine yesterday. It's pretty damn big (and heavy). Bought a silicon cover to help with one handed use, but my usual hand position isn't very comfortable - normally I use my little finger to prop up the phone, with my other fingers wrapped ardour do the right side of the phone (and thumb for tapping). But the weight of the 6s+ isn't great for long periods, plus the phone sits with the Lightning socket on my little finger and it's quite sharp. Also my fingers can't properly wrap around it, so the grip doesn't feel as secure. For now I'm leaning it back a little more than my old phone but let's see if can adapt.

It's also really big in my pocket - normal straight cut non-skinny jeans - it basically fills the pocket and bulges quite a lot.

Realistically it's too big for me, and my 5.2" Z3 was about the limit for comfort in hand and in pocket. But the iPhone 6s is too small (found the 4.7" Z3 compact too small too. Ideally I'd want a 5.2" iPhone with smaller bezels

Going to stick it out for a while, but I might end up returning it for the 6s in a couple of weeks. I have an iPad Air 2 for browsing and watching videos at home, so I thnk I could live with a smaller phone focused more on connecting with people and portability.

Or buy an Apple Watch and just keep the iPhone in my bag ;)

I wasn't sure how much I would like the size for day to day use, coming from my iPhone 5 but after a week with the 6s plus, my iPhone 5 feels like a child's toy now when I hold it lol

Your hand wraps around the 6s+ better than mine wraps around my 6s! Kinda jealous, I don't consider the 6s+ particularly useable for me... at least not with my preferred way of using and carrying phones - but that extra space seems so nice.

I had some problems the first day, so many problems that I thought I'd made a mistake.

Got used to it quickly, however, and I am happy with it.

Now I'm not sure there's any reason to hang onto my iPad Air 2.

:)

Now that would be a nice bonus if I could sell my air 2 :)

I came from a Galaxy Note 3, so I was used to a bigger phone already. Couldn't go back to watching videos on a small screen.

It's interesting, but I'm finding I can one-hand this one somewhat easier. Maybe it's the grip from my case.

Yeah it was tough and took time. But now it's not a problem. The bigger screen is so necessary.

I'm a tiny gal, but I can one-hand maybe half the time. I thought I would mind using two hands, but I don't. Don't even think about it anymore. Picked up my daughter's 5 the other day and wanted to chuck it out of the window. TOO SMALL! Like a toy. LOL

Lol, I imagine the whole Crocodile Dundee thing, but with a twist.

"That's not a phone! This is a phone!"

When people are stating they use the 6+ one handed is that without sliding the phone up and down to reach certain pats of the screen?
