I'm still waiting on my 6s+ to get here, but my case just came today. My 5c inside the Zoogue case... I'm missing so much phone lol.
What kind of case did you get, @IphoneIssues
Started messing with the 3D touch today. Definitely going to be a two-handed action for me.
I can use it one handed in the same way I used my 5s, meaning I can rest it on my pinky, have 3 fingers on the back for support and still reach the upper corners with my thumb (yeah, long fingers). It took me a few hours to adjust though. After unboxing it, I just stared at it in disbelief thinking I made a mistake. Like, "Uh, this isn't a phone, it's the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. What the hell did I do? I can't actually drag this behemoth around. It's ludicrously heavy, too, almost two 5s (192g vs 117g). One hand operation feels like a dangerous balance act."
A few hours later it felt perfectly natural, and when I picked up my ancient iPhone 4 (which still sits in a 30-pin dock on a Sony clock radio and displays weather; that's all it does) I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that this was the iPhone only a few years ago. It now felt like an iPod Nano.
The only downside is that it's a bit slippery without a case. Not predictably slippery; it's more like... it feels perfectly secure in your hand and a split second later it strikes a sudden deal with gravity and plummets. So I think I'll get a silicone case... as if this thing needed to get any bigger and heavier. Oh well, all things considered, I'm still happy with my choice.
True. I have no expectations of using it one-handed more than two-handed. I do have tiny baby hands though XDI think everyone planning to go with 6S+ should instantly stop thinking about one hand usability. It's not going to happen. This phone is not designed for that kind of ergonomy. It's designed for more pleasant content consumption experience and you will have to hold it with two hands most of the time.
Why make it a black and white issue? It's quite simple - if the size of your hands allows it, it can be used comfortably with one hand. If not, use two. This is how I use mine. I can also grasp an old iPad 3 by its edges with one hand. Should I not do that because of some rule that says it's not designed for that?I think everyone planning to go with 6S+ should instantly stop thinking about one hand usability. Don't take everything so literally. If you have big enough hand, then go ahead and use it with one hand. No problem. However, most people are not capable to do that. 6+ and 6S+ are not designed one hand usage on mind. Why make it a black and white issue? I had some problems the first day, so many problems that I thought I'd made a mistake.
Got used to it quickly, however, and I am happy with it.
Now I'm not sure there's any reason to hang onto my iPad Air 2.

Uh how much are you selling your air 2 for heheNow that would be a nice bonus if I could sell my air 2![]()
I came from a Galaxy Note 3, so I was used to a bigger phone already. Couldn't go back to watching videos on a small screen.
It's interesting, but I'm finding I can one-hand this one somewhat easier. Maybe it's the grip from my case.
I'm a tiny gal, but I can one-hand maybe half the time. I thought I would mind using two hands, but I don't. Don't even think about it anymore. Picked up my daughter's 5 the other day and wanted to chuck it out of the window. TOO SMALL! Like a toy. LOL
