I would love to see a blind person work a Touch (or any other touch based OS)
That's a surprise. Didn't someone post in a thread of his/her conversation with an Apple employee about vibration in the new iPod Touch and was told there was vibration in the iPod Touch?
To be frank, deaf people have been screwed for thousands of years. Not sure that the iPod Touch is responsible for a lot of that.![]()
It's not really *force* feedback, if there's no resistance -- just feedback.

Im sure an iPod is at the top of a deaf persons to buy list.
I use my iPhone/iPod as a pocket computer way more often than I use it with my ears for voice calls or playing music.
Also, FaceTime seems perfect for folks who might communicate primarily via sign language/lip reading. C'mon. Pay attention. Haven't you seen the iPhone 4 ads?
Easy. Turn on VoiceOver. I did that and played around with it with my eyes closed and it was pretty darn easy to use.
I call that a human error. Not a deliberate wrong doing. Fixed right after Apple was notified about it.Miscommunication/deliberate wrong information LAWSUIT!

How so? Non of the ipods have that. Or 512 MB ram. Or good camera's. Or any of the other things you super-geeks want. Just be a bit more appreciative of what you have.
They can see the alert. It's the blind that's screwed.

What a blind person would do with face time in beyond me.
They should make the next gen iPod Touch with Braille support![]()
