Dutch of Engl/int keyboard.
I'd prefer the US, with the \ above the enter and the ~ above the tab. That is not available in the Netherlands. I don't know what the difference is. I think, looking at other apples. That the Eng/int keyboard has the \ next to the large sized enter and the ~ next to the shift. (by heart)
Anyone knows the difference?
Also the Eng/int does not have a delete, but only a backspace.
Anyone have info or knows where I can find this?
Cheers

If the CD model fits the bill, the refurbs are a heck of a deal right now.

There's a link in there too to a Wikipedia entry showing different nationality keyboards.
Not certain whether you were asking about this or stating a fact, but just to confirm there's no delete on the English powerbook keyboard; you have to use the function key and backspace.

and I called the apple people, and they say if you call, if can get shipped faster.![]()
You get a $100 rebate on select printers when you purchase a new MBP. Some of them cost $100 (or less), so it's effectively free (after the additional tax they charge you for the printer).sblasl said:How did you get a free printer? Did you call your order in to the US Apple Store?
mingspace said:I apologize in advance if this has already been posted. But on the store site, when you are configuring a MBP, the option for 200GB drive says 4200 RPMs. Don't they mean 7200RPMs?
iBorg20181 said:Nope - In 2.5" laptop drives, the largest 7200rpm HD is either 100 or 120GB (I forget which), largest 5400rpm HD is 160GB, and largest 4200rpm HD is 200GB. The 200GB Fujitsu HD had a very "average' rating by tomshardware.com - get it only if you absolutely need that much internal HD space, otherwise anything less than 5400rpm is going to be slow .... or so I'm told!
BTW - this upgrade is even better than expected! I pulled the trigger on the 15.4" 2.33GHz Merom with standard 2GB ram (YAY!) and upgraded to the 160GB HD. I opted for the glossy screen - seeing them side-by-side the matte screens, even in the brightly-lit Apple Store's florescent lighting, the glare was almost non-existent, the colors bright and vibrant, even at 2/3 brightness levels!
wOOt! Happy Day! Thank you, Apple!!

Noticed the slight reflection of things around when I started moving my head away from the center of the screen. Also noticed how it was brighter and prettier than the matte. I was still juggling until I sat at my work computer and saw your post. I was afraid i'll be annoyed by the reflection on the glossy, but then my work CRT monitor always had this reflection which I didn't notice until today just because I was staring at the glossy for quite long trying to notice any flaw.
That said, I think I'm getting glossy.
