pretty sure thats the bezel of the iPhone 5s
Not really sure how you come to that conclusion. The difference in proportion clearly means that more Mac users have had interest in upgrading to Mavericks. Or, in another words, that Apple did something with Mavericks that made it attractive, which Microsoft did not succeeded in doing with Windows 8. Even though the main factor is likely to be the price. I mean, there is no doubt that most of what Tim says is pure marketing, but these numbers at least absolutely make sense as a benchmark to me .
And its not only Windows users that are blocked from upgrading for business reasons. My servers still run on Snow Leopard because updating from it would break many software dependencies which are crucial for us.
No, you can just pass along data from one app equivalent from another. If one platform is more capable, you'll still need to use that platform directly to take advantage of them.Anyways. Can I now use an iPad as a front end for my Mac, (Natively)? That is to say I switch my Mac on and leave it. I walk around the house with my iPad and use that to do everything I can do from the Mac.
Like The Verge said, I like this new, more relaxed Apple. It's more Californian.
So glad I'm not there. I would not be able to applaud at the not-so exciting parts. Which so far, is most of it.
they did the same thing when they announced 7.
Its much needed. I hate scrolling to find images. I also hate group messages when you are in a meeting and your phone doesn't stop vibrating/ringing.
Also working with Mayo Clinic, with HealthKit they can figure out personalized thresholds for readings, notify doctors automatically, and more.
I'm not sure it is right to trust your health on a consumer electronic device? I would rather have a doctor tell me my personal thresholds or a trainer, not an app!
Be interesting to see the results of this, and notify doctors? Yeah maybe in America only.
