Seemed pretty clear to me. Breitbart reports fake news.Nope. Came from a Japanese website. Breitbart is a great source as well though, so I don't know what you were trying to get at there.

What government entiltlement do people pocket? Working an minimun wage always gives you more money and options that anything you can 'pocket' and not work.I doubt there are still enough people left in this country willing to perform a monotonous job, earning minimum wage. Easier to just pocket the govt entitlement. And if there were, the unions wouldn't allow it.
That's why those jobs aren't coming back. There is such a thing as a minimum wage. Compare China's to USA's. Then use some logic to think.
of course, but the reality is that is too late to get jobs back now, you need to train them first and that takes years to amass the amount of workers. too lateI'll refer you to my comment made in response to someone who posted a similar counterargument.
No. I just don't fall for the "we need to use the tax system to punish corporations or threaten them to do stuff for the government by getting a tax break." line. Are you a corp?

The government generally selects the "best vendor" or the "lowest cost of ownership vendor".Supplementing what you are saying... I know that the Air Force has switched over entirely from Blackberry to iPhone. That is a huge number of phones handed out to military personnel (not everyone, only those designated as needing a phone for business).
In this way, the government could very well apply some pressure toward a particular manufacturer.
Yeah because carrying about one's Countrymen is a bad thing.Whew...that natoinalism talk is scary. We've seen this is past before.
That's Hillaryous. The government generally selects the "best vendor" or the "lowest cost of ownership vendor".
Apple has consistently proven that TCOO "trumps" price.
See where I went with that?![]()
I'm an American, they are an American. If something I chose to buy gives me two options, A) benefits an American worker or B)benefits (insert foreign country name here) worker. I exchange my money for the goods/services that benefit the American.
That's why those jobs aren't coming back.

What state are you in? Nobody's paying $6.50 anymore, not even fast food places.Oh, boy. Let's follow along, kids!
If Apple feels threatened enough about the 45%+ tax for companies projecting jobs outside of the United States, do you think that the will worry about the price increase of minimum wage?
China's minimum wage can range from $1.01 to $2.00, whereas in the USA, let's say it's roughly $7.50 give or take. And how much do you think a 45% tax on a multi-billion dollar company like Apple will be? Hm?
Again, weigh the differences in costs: Roughly $5.50-6.50 per workers in the United States' factories, compared to a 45% tax on Apple. If you really need to argue further of why this isn't an incentive for Apple to think of making jobs here, then you're absolutely delusional.
What state are you in? Nobody's paying $6.50 anymore, not even fast food places.
You really want your $2000.00 iphone put together by a minimum wage worker, hey have fun with that prestigious product.
Let me know when that 45% tax is on the books, till then, you're the delusional one.
I have one word for you: robotics
You ought to be sorry, you're clueless about the real costs of labor.I...I really don't know why you're bringing up $6.50 like it's the minimum wage costs. I'm subtracting $7.50 by $1.00 and $2.00 for the range in difference in minimum wage costs between United States and China... If you really don't understand simple math, I don't know what to tell you.
And if you really think that Apple is going to say, "HM, okay... We have factory workers in the United States, so surely we will RAISE prices by 100%!" No. They will use their marketing teams to come up with another price. An increase? Probably. By $1000? Don't kid yourself.
And if this 45% tax wasn't serious, why is this article here, with these quotes from actual representatives from the companies?
From my interaction with you, I've just gathered that: 1) You don't read the articles, 2) You don't use simple logic, and 3) You can't do math
I'm so sorry.
You ought to be sorry, you're clueless about the real costs of labor.
If the article was serious they'd wait to see if the new administration could actually walk and chew gum at the same time, before passing a ridiculous new tax policy, that will in all likelihood be another watered down campaign promise.
So anyone is willing to do this at minimum wage?
It's so stupid to see some believe these these moves are related to the president elect. A couple days after the election Ford announces an increase in some US manufacturing and some want to believe it was due to trying to please Trump. .
Wow talk about fake news...did this come from Breitbart?
It's a rumor. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump surrogates started it.
Reminds me of this:

Ah so we'll have iPhone city, TX where 300,000+ are going to migrate to from Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc. to assemble iPhones. If this was viable wouldn't Apple already be doing it?
This is Trump logic - everything is a zero sum game with a fixed pie and there can only be winners and losers. It's not Apple's fault that some high school educated white person in Ohio no longer has a factory job. It's not Apple's responsibility to make sure they do.
Hahahahaha...that's rich.....a bunch of millennials making 20 an hour to screw in a componate down as it passes their station?
I don't see anything to indicate you've estimated realistic labor costs in the US.Hm, I like how your response to me responding to your lack of knowledge of my post is the vague, "You're clueless!" I posted my opinions of the facts, and you posted your incorrect interpretation. It's okay to admit being wrong!
And this is an article of these talks, ultimately of a RUMOR. No one is saying that these will happen 100%. But we are discussing the reasons why they MIGHT or MIGHT NOT.
