I think he felt going down the stairs and broke his 2 iPhone, the replacement he receive without sending the old one back.
Have some patience. He needs time to alter the pictures in photoshop and he's not that experienced with it yet.
OMG just stop. I got my phone a day BEFORE release and I can clearly see my prox sensor and my antenna has a light coated feel to it.

Seriously though, there are also manufacturing tolerances that can lead to the "black" on the bezel being slightly less black or more black, too. Like, for example, this guy's (poster above me) experience:

Sometimes buttons are looser or tighter, plastics and materials feel slightly different. They are producing an insane volume of these things, they all won't be identical.

OP, just watermark the pictures with a link to your blog to drive some traffic and be done with it. Not sure why you think you're so special anyway, if you got yours today and Gizmodo/iFixIt got reports yesterday that means pretty soon there will be plenty of pictures to go around.

I agree, they are loosing credibility almost as fast as Apple. Mine shipped July 2, my sensor is clearly visible in sunlight.
I have the proximity sensor problem and the reception problem.
Yep. My first iPhone 4 had a slightly angled power button that did not rattle or move at all, and had a horrendous rattle in the camera (that was definitely defective), but my second one has a completely flat power button that has a tiny amount of side-to-side play in it. It doesn't rattle or anything but it's not as rock solid as the first one's power button.
Every phone is going to be very marginally different. The black that they use to dye the bezel on Tuesday might have been mixed by a newbie and so might end up a little bit more gray. There is way too much that goes into the production of things like this to freak out over marginal differences between them.
This is a waste of time, and the idiot has us all responding to his OP, however people like this need to be banned from posting.
