in this the wallpaper goes up into the status bar...is this new or can this already be done with a tweak on a note 2? does anybody know?
I dont have a Note two but use Apex Launcher on my Samsung Galaxy S4 which allows one to have a transparent notification bar (It didn't require root access) so the effect you want could be possible on the Note 2.
i'm looking at my Nova settings under 2.2.3 and I don't see this page...under "Look and Feel" I only have a check box to show notification bar or not. I don't see it under the "Desktop" settings either....
oh nevermind, I just read you have APEX...i'm using Nova...maybe thats why. thanks
This is new to Touchwiz since the S4, if you can do this to your Note 2, sorry I don't know, but if so you will find the mod on XDA.
I wonder if it is only an option for samsung devices. I have a nexus 4, and the way the text reads under that option it would make sense why I do not see it.
Weird, I have a Note 2 but I don't get that option. (Doesn't show up if I check the box to show notifications either.)
What phone are you using?
Does your version of touchwiz allow you to make it transparent? I know the s4 has the option without needing a launcher.
Ewwwww gross!! I hadn't seen my phone wearing Touchwiz since I got Nova Prime, I had forgot just how awful it looks
Anyway, do you know where that setting is supposed to be? I'm not sure if I can't find it because its not there or because I just don't know where to look.

I am not really sure where it would be in the settings. I just did a quick google search and it looks like it is not a part of the note 2, which is probably why nova does not have the option.
Ok, seems like Touchwiz just won't play nice with Nova Prime in the case of the S4 then, and that the Touchwiz option doesn't even exist for the Note 2 then. Bummer. Maybe for the Note 3.
But are you running Nova on top of STOCK Touchwiz ? If your running another Rom other than stock such as the GE rom, that's the issue....
So what cases/covers are you guys leaning towards.
I am always pro naked but I dropped my S3 multiple times now living with a cracked screen until my Note 3 arrives.
I want to keep it minimal, safe, and sexy looking.
Was thinking of an S view cover but seems slightly annoying to constantly open it up and not sure drop protection. That Spigen looks ok but I am not a fan of those types of cases that change the look of the phone completely.
What else fellas/ladies?

I'm hoping someone will make a simple snapcase in real leather. Just covering the back & sides and with a small lip sticking out above the glass on the front side, and WITHOUT a flipcover on the front. I've been trying to find one for ages for the Note 2, but to no avail. I hope the 3 will be popular enough that someone will make a real quality leather case like that for it. I hate how every single leather case I can find for the Note 2 has a flipcover on it

want the wallet with the card slot. not sure if its supposed to be for ladies. is all about the phone wallet combo. why carry two?
Anyone directly compare this, or at least the Note 2, to a Optimus G Pro? I never knew they existed, and I say one in an ATT store for $439 off contract and thought man what a nice phone and resolution, the only t hing missing was the stylus.
