I don't doubt the iPhone takes great pictures but I do question the S4 / note 3 taking horrible ones. I can easily handpick photos off my family and friends iPhones that make it seem the iPhone takes crap photos.

 What's the the rest of the usage like?

This thing looks like it murders my Butterfly S battery wise.

Got about 17 hours total.. I was using it Alot but I've only had it since Thursday so I'm using it plenty.. Standby time is very good too.

The new USB 3.0 is very quick charging too. Taking only 2 hours to charge 100 percent.

Played with one in the Samsung store in Westfield this morning (which for once was actually full of people )

After staring at their gorgeous wall sized 4K TV (£34,999), I found myself an unoccupied Note 3 and started playing around.

It's impressive, very fast, unbelievably light, the back texture was pleasant (kind of has to be said, this is a Samsung phone after all...).

It was just a bit too unwieldily for me to pull the trigger on (I ended up buying a GS4), but yeah, the Note line is getting exponentially better every year.

The S4 does not take horrible pics.

This is my very first test photo with the S4 and I was pleased. No set up our seeing ideal light, just a quick point and click, then cropped and zoomed in.

It's been a great performer since I purchased it 8 weeks ago.

So has anyones AT&Ts order shipped yet?
Do you think we'll receive it Oct. 1st or just ship the 1st?...

i cant get a straight answer from them on even when it will be available in stores let alone the weird shipping date issue and when i should expect them to send.

pretty crappy

ugh, those are so painful to watch. that crunching sound is just terrible.

I asked at my local AT&T store and I was told they would be in the store on Friday Oct 4th.

Well hopefully all who preordered receive it by the 2nd. I never waited this long for a phone before, I feel like canceling and just picking up a 5C already. The more I wait the more I doubt I'll even like the phone haha.

Compared to an iPhone 5, how is the Note 3 handling?
When you are sitting down and can use both hands, I reckon it's not a problem.
How about on the go?
I often use my iPhone 5 on the move to check emails, catch up on forums and such.
I can do this while walking around with my wife at a store or while commuting on public transportations and such.
Is it to impractical to use the Note 3 on the go?

Cheers!

I had the Note 2 for seven months. It really depends what you do with your phone. If you are into tons of multimedia like playing games, watching movies and lots of web browsing on your phone and you are sitting down a lot, its great. On the go and one handed use if you do mostly emails, texts and calls, its terrible. Even with one handed use turned on, its still a pain to handle compared to an iPhone. Putting it in your pocket isnt the best either. Even if you wear loose fitting jeans or shorts, you will notice it for sure, its big and bulky. You will obviously never use the pen one handed either. Its a great device for sitting around and watching movies or playing games, but then again, a tablet is a better choice for that which is why I ended up getting rid of the Note 2 for a smaller phone.

My GS4 is not as one handed friendly as my iPhone 5 by any means.

It's precarious at times when I have to contort my hand to a less secure grip to reach certain screen elements. I can't even imagine with something like the GNote.

When walking in the street it isn't easy to hold and type Alot but it can be done. Saying that I'm terrible texting when walking anyway no matter what the size

Wow can't believe you think over 40 million people bought into the Note line to use it with one hand. Then you point out that a tiny little 4 inch phone is easier to use with one hand than a 5.5 inch Note 2. Are you for real? Lol.
In other news, man jumps into lake, and gets soaking wet. Shocker!

He asked about the Note compared to the iPhone, I shared my experience with both devices. Are you a Samsung rep? Must be.

good point. thats the one thing i havent done. walk into a store and ask but i went into a store to pre-order, go figure. lol

this is definitely the longest i have waited for a phone after a pre-order. i am proud of my tech patience which normally does not occur.

Watching these awesome reviews doesnt help though

I'm not the one going out of my way trying to make any particular device look bad. Are you an Apple Rep? Must be.

I pre-ordered the Note II last year and think the wait was even longer compared to this year. I don't mind as I know it'll be worth it.

Just wondering..

What case will you plan on using with your Note 3? Need some ideas and recommendations.

Currently using a bodyglove TPU case on my Note II. Love how its thin and sleek while protecting the phone without adding any bulk.

That is a very nice case! Do they make one with a kickstand to watch movies while it is propped up?

Got a cimo clear tpu case and anti glare screen protector delivered this past Saturday so I'm all ready to go! Hurry up at&t! Bought the cimo from amazon for like $7 or something. Will hold me over until more cases show up in prime

Already ordered the Spigen Neo Hybrid, like their stuff.

Did you go with that white frame?

Been looking at this case along with the slim armor and can't decide whether I like the metal slate or satin silver color.

I don't think I ever saw a version with a kickstand.
