But the strange part is that direct pen input (handwriting to text recognition in the input field of gmail, messaging, or anything else) still works fine. :confused::p

Hmmmm, mine no longer has that weird 9/11-9/13 date as it has Shipping date of 10/1/13

Item Status: processing
Tracking number: pending shipment

Is your item status shipped or processing?

Looks mine is moving but just the date changed. Staying optimistic!!
 
Mine hasn't changed to shipped...
Although we have started to receive some at work, which makes me kinda mad that I could have just got it here rather than wait for my preorder.
Also looks like there coming in crappy ATT packaging, which explains the delay lol.

Yeah. I don't understand the ugly ATT boxes they provide and the removal of the headphones from the boxes.

Mine showed processing for the past couple of weeks. Today it changed to SHIPPED with a tracking number from UPS.
 
didn't get email from ATT but checked my order status and it shows shipped with Fedex, expected delivery 10/3 from TX to CA...

ATT packaging sucks...why can't they just pass along samsung's packaging...

Just checked again and mine changed to shipped as well, woohoo!!
 
Had to change my shipping to a UPS retail store as I wont be home to sign for it.

Hopefully it doesnt change the shipping date. :rolleyes:
 
Out of curiosity did anyone have theirs shipped who didn't order day 1? Mine is still "processing", and Oct 1st will be over in 3 hours.
 
I am amazed people care about a box/packaging. I couldnt care less what a dumb box looks like, it is the product inside I am worried about

Which is why it sucks that AT&T doesn't provide all the accessories inside the box when selling to the customer. It's also nice to have the original box when selling your phone.
 
Didn't know the Notes came with head phones. What the hell ATT? I dunno...if I should switch to VZW for this. Seriously. I feel gimped.

Though I don't have the phone yet.:D

F123D, concerning the Note 3, you have a ton of knowledge. For me, it's really valuable. However, I am curious as to how you know this (the accessories part)?
Don't all AT&T phones come in AT&T boxes (yes, that box is ugly!)?
 
AT&T did this last year with the Note II. Every other carrier provided Samsungs nice looking box while AT&T replaced it with their orange/white box. They also removed the headphones and extra earbuds.

If you look at what comes in the box on ATT's website, no headphones again this year. Just charger, usb cable, and manual.

Ultimately, it's not a big deal but it'd be nice to have everything that should come with the phone instead of a stripped down version.

That sucks! Why remove the headphones and earbuds? I am sure as hell not going to buy any from att. Are they somehow reselling them?

Does this warrant an additional production line? I mean they do have to package them differently. :p

As for the earbuds (Samsung ones), they are surprisingly of decent quality. Sony bundles their premium line of in-ear earbuds with their phones this year.

I always wondered. I see sooo many people using the old iPhone/iPod earbuds (which were really cr*p, considering their premium price) with their Samsung Phones, that I asked myself if the samsung ones are even worse or these people are just plain stupid.
