Now I have 8:20 hours and still 60% battery with same usage pretty much as yesterday when it was 6 hours and 50% battery. It's a nice improvement.

So thats total time? whats your screen time like?

Had the Note for 10 days now. Sold my 5s and then got rid of the HTC One, Moto X and Droid Maxx to keep it. I really can't find any flaws with this device yet. Only minor gripe was I wished the speaker was a bit louder but Samsung even included the ability to maximize the volume. They really have thought of everything this time.

Im happy for now. I'm sure there could be more improvements but I don't wanna shut off everything. And I usually don't need to go 2 days without charging anyway.

I have all of my features on apart from GPS and bluetooth. I don't want to switch things off as these features are why I wanted the note 3.

Besides with the spare battery kit worrying about battery life isn't an issue. If I run out of battery I just swap my battery over..it's perfect.

Any of you guys know invisible shields for the note 3 screen?

I found the BodyGuardZ ScreenGuardz Pure Ultra thin Tempered glass cover.

Got it at the AT&T Store since they install it and if they mess it up will replace it. 110% perfect install on my Note 3. HUGE difference with any other guard I've used. Can't tell it's even there except where it is cut around some of the sensors at the top. Perfect.

Price at $45 but worth it IMO.

What pdqgp said.

I have an invisishield HD right now since that is all they sell at BBY while I wait for my glass screen protector from Amazon. I decided to try the Spigen Slim TR on the N3 and I have a nano slim on the S4. The Nano slim already cracked after only a month on the S4 while the Bodyguardz lasted forever (Had to replace as I had my phone replaced under my insurance and decided to try Spigen). The TR is the same thickness as the BGz, so it will be more of a similar comparison between it and the BGz... we will see.

Anybody keep the sync feature on at all?

I have sync enabled, I never turn off bluetooth or wifi. I just never have a problem with battery life on the thing.

The only thing I disabled was google now - but even if I do enable it - I'm talking a max of 20% extra battery usage on top of my normal daily.

With bluetooth on, wifi on, notifications for social media set to only when a direct comment or message and 3 email addresses working over time.

I still routinely get through my day with 3 hours screen on and have over 50% left before it goes back on the wireless charger.

------

side note. Not a fan of the s-view case for watching movies. Especially awkward when watching a movie and wanting to adjust volume.........

You charge your note at night no matter what % you have left? yeah I'm the same..I keep all the features on apart from bluetooth and GPS and my battery lasts me a good 1 and more.

Yesterday it lasted me 1 day, 6 hours so no issues here. Thats with auto brightness on.

Yeah I do, I generally I just bung it on my wireless charging pad simply because it's there next to the bed. On some days when I've not been heavy using, I can have 80% on it left and I still put it on my wireless charging pad.

I honestly have just stopped thinking about battery on it now.

The only day I saw BIG battery drain compared to normal was a shopping trip to dublin, where I used the Note 3 as my Sat Nav with Google Maps. But even then lasted a full day and had about 7 hours screen on time. And most of the day that was with GPS on !!!

I'm really happy with it and I haven't been satisfied phone wise this year at all until this handset.

Wow that's good

I get 7 hours screen time but normally only at home on wifi. When out I get around 3-5 hours screen time

Yeah admittedly screen brightness was down to about 25-35% for the duration of the journey, but other than my usual enabled power saving for CPU only - everything else was turned on. Bluetooth / GPS / Wifi (on but not using as travelling).

Crap. I dropped my Note3 on the floor yesterday. No scratches or anything but now it's restarting itself sometimes.

I wonder what it could be, any idea?

Edit: May not even be because I dropped it, I see others have this issue too: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sp...h/281873-my-phone-keeps-rebooting-itself.html

Edit 2: Hmm, I just put the Note on the table and in that moment it restarted itself again. It only happens when I put it on a hard surface. When I let it drop on a pillow or couch not. WTF

?

Edit 3: I shut it off, took battery out and after a minute put it back in making sure it's in well and the back cover too. Not rebooting anymore when putting on hard surface table. Hope stays ok now.

Anyone on the Note 3 getting poor Google Maps performance and crappy location accuracy even when GPS is on too?

Nope.. It's grand here I'm afraid.

I was using it last week on a drive to Dublin and one of passengers also had an iPhone 5S with Navigon. The Note 3 and Google Maps performed better and GPS was not a problem.

First time I've used Google Maps for Sat Navigation and I was highly impressed.

I just can't believe it. It's showing I'm a half a mile at a different location than I actually am. GPS is on and I live in NYC. ***** could it be?

Yeah something is amiss certainly. Did you try the factory reset the last time you were having other problems, if not - maybe it would be worth doing so and if it's still having gps issue get in touch with carrier or samsung to get a replacement / repair.

Awesome accuracy here. I can't think of anything software wise that can cause a GPS glitch. But if a factory reset doesn't fix your issue, then it's a definite case for replacement.
