Seems to be happening again with no major changes to downloading new apps or usage of the phone.

These battery problems are so sporadic with this thing its getting very annoying. Maybe I have a bad battery after 6 months?

Frustrating to say the least as I really was enjoying this phone but its becoming an uphill battle lately in keeping me on Android for my next device.

For me my battery life improved dramatically since switching to Cyanogenmod. I think it's a major issue with Samsungs 4.4 ROM. The Galaxy Note 2 users are reporting the exact same issue now it's hit them.

Last few days on Kitkat have been horrid for me. Intitally everything was smooth sailing now I'm getting more force closes, screen becoming unresponsive in certain apps whereby I have to close them out in task manager and start over again and worst of all is the battery drain. Android System is having a frigging brunch on my Note 3.

Uggg ... This is so frustrating. I just want to go back to Jelly Bean where everything was peaches and cream. I literally had zero issues.

Holy crap, the Verizon Note 3 KitKat OTA came today! This is the most unbelievable thing to happen to me in some time, I thought for sure we'd never receive KitKat on this phone! :p

This was actually the worst thing that could have happened to me. I wish they would have kept their update and flushed it down the loo.

You tried getting another battery?

Battery already down to 71% and I've barely even used my phone today. Android System still the biggest culprit at 32%

Well mine is normally on 25-28%

Snd still get over 1 day usage. You tried downloading battery doctor? And fast reboot

Just got my Note 3 today. Wow. I have no idea what took me so long to get one. Oddly enough, I don't have find the 5.7" screen too big. Thankfully, my device came with 4.3. The first thing I did was root it and remove AT&T bloatware.

Have you turned off Location Reporting and Keep History in Location services?

It is reset to on when google services gets an update.

I shut them off last night.

Took my phone off the charger at 730. I used Google Music and nothing else all day. Maybe 2 hours of Google Music?

Sitting at 56% already.

Not wonderful but seems a tad better. Ill restart and test again.

What does your battery info say? It is not normal to drop so much.

For me on standby it drops about 0.5 to 1 percent per hour. 13 to 15 percent drop per hour with screen on. On Lte.

Mine drops about 1.5 per hour I reckon in standby. Depends on the signal.

Try another battery. See if it is just the battery.
