Me too!
I believe the back has a glossy finish, giving it the illusion that it's a plastic. The front doesn't look like real brushed metal at all and purple-y blue may not appeal to everyone.
Me too!
And to think this is only the 3rd iteration of this phone. It's no shock that the Galaxy S line of phones has become such a market leader. I love how you can actually have different settings for the display. That way people who enjoy more natural colors can do so. Brilliant!!
Whether Apple loyalist want to admit it or not, it's phones like this that will speed up the improvements made to the iphone. Competition drives companies to do better. That's a fact. You can thank all the 4+ inch Android phones out there for your upcoming 4 inch iphone.
This review has only made me more psyched to pick it up.
Speed improvements? The 4S feels faster than dual-core because the processor and software work perfect together.
I don't need to thank anyone but Apple when they release a larger screen. It' is inevitable that they're going to make the screen larger. Even if Android didn't exist, people would still want a larger display.
Meh. If I want a tablet, I'll get an iPad.
Ummm...let's see. Where did I say "speed improvements?" I believe I said, "...it's phones like this that will speed up the improvements made to the iphone."
as in making more improvements sooner than later. Make sense now? If you didn't let your hate for anything not Apple get in the way, you may actually comprehend posts better.![]()
Meh... Keep it. I think it's totally ugly & cheap looking. And way too big. and I don't care how far android has come, it's still not as fluid and smooth as iOS. Good luck with it. I'll be very happy waiting until October for the next iPhone.
Well along with making their own high end phones, I'm sure Sammy will be hard at work to make sure the heart and brains of the next iphone are just as amazing and reliable as all the other iphones before it.![]()
Must be tough for Samsung. They make chips for not just the iPhone, but a myriad of other android devices that almost no one ever buys.

It's big but not ugly and it's quite smooth. You see, iOS is a static UI. There are no widgets and no real-time updating, only sliding screens. It had to be smooth.
There's still no resisting the fluidity, ease of use, and ecosystem that is iPhone.
Oh, god, can't you think of something more original to say? Comparing a 4"+ phone to the size of an iPad is getting old and tired. At least save this tired argument when talking about the Galaxy Note.
Sounds like the voice of inexperience & impatience speaking.Sure the S3 is a great device, but the Play Store is abysmal and the OS is unstable. I can honestly say that when I went from the 4S to the Epic 4G Touch, the experience was not what I expected. The total opposite of iOS. I could not wait to get back to iOS, which I did so just last week in fact.

you have it backwards.....you can thank apple for your 4+ inch phones...
Uh, they're in the leaderboard of phone sales before and after Android right with Apple.Must be tough for Samsung. They make chips for not just the iPhone, but a myriad of other android devices that almost no one ever buys.
Really? What's your logic?
