It might come down some more if you place an order and wait and do the old cancel order routine haha but it might just come down on its own keep your eyes open for it.


You know difference is enough for me bc with BB they charge my BB credit $2177 then credit me $1000 on pick up day.. I then have choice to pay interest free or hit the BB card as regular get a reward .. so $2177-$1000= $1177 get back $60 Rakuten and $95 BB reward for future purchases which I always have to use by certain deadline and sometimes buy just to buy haha

Samsung $975 + $27 Rakuten back

Yeah, I normally check Reddit (try to avoid the negativity)... they are good with giving some advice. That's how I found the deal on the S Pen Pro.

Yeah, that's too much of an hassle. If I were in your shoes... I'd cancel that and go to Samsung, they are known to ship it early. With Best Buy they tend to be strict when it comes to their pre-order process... not letting you pick it up early.

Exactly most likely get earlier and less hassle.
 
I just got off live chat about the $100 reservation fee in the app. Basically, if you have already ordered, they can't modify the original order and you would have to cancel and reorder. The catch is, the phone is about to ship and you would have to refuse delivery. I'd saved $53 with the coupon - I went as far as the checkout screen and compared to the price to my original order final price. So, I told Samsung I'll just keep my original order and don't worry about it.

Last year, when Samsung did this whole fluctuating discounts... since I couldn't cancel the order they offered me a refund of the difference. Surprise they don't provide that as an option.
 
@Bkdodger and @Ludatyk, I was just about to post about the Samsung Shop app promo but you both shared it earlier. Man, that's another $100 savings over the cheapest price I initially had with the Education discount. I am shocked Samsung is already sweetening the deal so soon after Unpacked. I remember last year Fold6 deals kept getting better and better 2-3 months after launch. Looks like history may repeat itself.

I swapped to a more basic MagSafe case for my Fold6 to mimic not having an S Pen. It has only been a few days but so far I haven't needed S Pen, and the more compact and lighter case is quite noticeable. I appreciate that the Fold6 is still pretty awesome and also thin and relatively light in its own right. Sure, it's not as slim as the Fold7 but Fold6 is nothing to be ashamed of. And at least I still have the option to go back to an S Pen case if I choose to with the Fold6. Even with the extra $100 discount, I am not immediately swayed to order the Fold7. Samsung is gonna have to do even better with the promos to persuade me...

Yep, I asked about this as well. I didn’t feel like dealing with a lengthy back and forth with them since I knew it was only a $53 difference for me. Ultimately, I’ll get f over in the end since the resell value will drop by Black Friday and Christmas. Lol. They will probably be going for $1600 on Swappa by then.

Those are exactly my thoughts too! After Verizon cancelled my order I was going to re-order it again .....my S25 is so perfect right now....One UI 8 is amazing. I dlove the camera and battery life is great.
But I haven't played around with the Fold 7 yet! Everything could change once I play around with it at BB tomorrow!

If I had some issues with my Fold6 or Samsung Care+ wasn't added, I'd probably consider upgrading... but as you stated it's still pretty awesome. And I'm waiting for a bigger discount to entice me... Especially if I have to give up S-Pen usage.

Oddly enough, during that time... Samsung offered more as a refund (was no lenthy exchange). Explained to them about how the discounts changed and I seen people receive refunds... and can they help me? Informed them the difference in amount... and they were like "how about I give you more?" Lol. It took me by surprise, but I certainly accepted it.

There definitely something about having the top specs of any Samsung phone. Man, the Fold is so close though. Actually, if it had 45w charging, that would have sufficed from a battery perspective. The camera though, I took a 40x zoom pic today and it was so good. Just not ready to part with those. But it's real close.

I carried the ZF6 with a slim carbon case made it a pleasure, I have the Samsung S pen case which I barely used bc I like thinness and not a pen user.. phone is nothing to sneeze at definitely

I was very VERY tempted yesterday to get a new Fold 6 via a reseller on eBay UK but decided to stick with the 7 that I've pre-ordered (the Fold 6 was £800 UK Sterling; so would have saved myself £800); but the temptation/regret of not getting the 7 would seriously annoy me 😂

But in agreement re the 6; it's still a superb Fold and IMO; the best Samsung had made up until now. I tried the 4 and 5 and didn't like them at all

I had my Fold 6 in the Spigen Aramid case and added the Spigen Magsafe ring to it and it was perfect; still thin & light and worked perfectly with my Magsafe chargers and in-car holder etc
 
Good ole Samsung customer service, lol. So on Saturday around 5pm, I cancelled the order. A few hours later actually got the email but it only says that the extras like Sirius XM were cancelled, did a quick click to chat and had an amazing journey with Steven who told me that my order is actually cancelled, but due to volume, the website won't reflect that yet. My order still says "In Process" on the website with no cancel button. So I'm just taking their word for it that it's cancelled.
 
I tried to switch, had a Fold 7 on order but with my brain fatigue going I just don't have the brain energy to do all the work with moving everything over from Apple services or apps that have no Android app.

Sad because I do like the hardware Samsung has produced and they fixed some of my biggest gripes for earlier folds I owned, but I know I'd be back on iOS as soon as Apple releases their foldable.
 
Decided to pre-order the Flip 7 in black. I received the random pop-up in the Samsung app for the $100 promo and another $50 off, plus the $150 in credit to use on accessories. Got the Kindsuit case, silicone ring case, and regular silicone case. Strange how the pre-order deals seem to change by the day. Will be my first flip / fold device so I'm looking forward to it!

Although I'm not planning to upgrade from my Fold6 at this time, I still can't decide between Mint and Blue Shadow.

The Blue does look great in-person at BestBuy, but I couldn't find any examples in-store of the exclusive Mint color. Even the Flip 7 on display was the red (which also looks great). And the Fold7 1TB is only available in black or blue, so I'd possibly have to decide between extra storage or color. Plus, would the color really matter if I'm just going to slap a case on it?

I am too chicken to go caseless. My Fold6 already has a scratch on the hinge from using a case without spine protection. Plus, no S Pen if I were to go caseless (but then that would be perfect training for the Fold7 without S Pen).
 
Caved and ordered the blue fold 7 lastnight after checking it out at best buy. I've tried to switch a few times in the past unsuccessfully, but have been laying the groundwork to escape the ecosystem the last few years (moving passwords, contacts etc. out of apples ecosystem). Pretty excited for this hardware so hoping it'll stick this time.

Got my tracking number as well.

FML and I still don’t have a case and screen protector. I guess I won’t be going outside with it yet.

My UPS app says "Label Created - Awaiting package", but according to Samsung, my order is cancelled. What a mess lol. So I might end up getting the Fold after all (but hope I don't).
