Well I tried to cancel mine. I actually did, had the email confirmation, and now it's preparing to ship.
Oh I haven't been refunded yet so I'm not 100% sure if it will actually make its way to UPS.
Yeah, I think a member on here if I recall... had their order canceled. Yet, the order showed up and they contacted support which told the member that it didn't have to be returned. But it wasn't for the Galaxy Fold.. some other phone.
That might have been me, but mine was really weird. I initiated a return but decided to keep it, and then they issued me a refund saying my return was successful. I tried to give them my money back and everything but they basically said "we don't care". Haha
I canceled one, ordered again, and might still cancel it. I am just having a hard time figuring out what I would do with the inner screen. I’m not a heavy multitasker and don’t know if I have a workflow that would really benefit from all that space. The original/edited side-by-side photo view is pretty cool though. I don’t even care about the cost… just trying to avoid the wife saying “I told you so.” when I return it.

Yeah, I'm hoping that side-by-side photo view comes to the ZF6... but I think once you have it in your hands that's when you can unlock some ideas on how to incorporate it into your daily life.
I'm a huge NBA fan and when I watch it on YT TV, I'm able to have split view enabled and watch a NBA game while looking at something on YT or catch up on a show/movie from a particular streaming app. I'll have the game muted because I don't care for the commentary while listening to whatever 2nd app I have open.
While Samsung Fold series is great for productivity, it is still worth it if you simply consume a lot of content on the go or on the couch at home. You literally have the screen size equivalent of the original iPad Mini. After I got my Fold4 I gradually stopped using my 12.9" iPad Pro and eventually sold the big iPad because it was just collecting dust. The Fold is just more comfortable and convenient to open up and use wherever I am.
Just using as a Kindle like device before you even consider media or browsing or photo editing or even sheet music makes excellent use of the real estate along with preview pane on emails
You do not have to be a multi tasking expert to enjoy

LOL. I just saw it in my email too. Man, Samsung is looking desperate to push the Fold7, and it's starting to work on me. This is another $100 cheaper than yesterday's discount and $200 cheaper than the best launch day price! More tempting for sure, but I'm gonna HODL onto the Fold6. Please keep trying though, Samsung.

I read a lot on mine. YouTube. Social media. It's amazing for that but also if I need to do other things it's able to handle it well also.
Kind of pissed at Samsung for this whole order cancel issue. They confirmed that it is indeed going to ship out even though I was clearly able to cancel the order online. They said that I will have to return it with a 5% restock fee unless I can somehow refuse the package with UPS. Literally no efforts to help or anything.
That is piss poor service right there. Might as well open it up and play with it a bit if you are taking a 5% fee regardless.
That said I'd try to go up the chain first and see what you can do. Also put a note on your door to UPS and say you are refusing delivery. Can you make a note in the UPS app? I've never tried to refuse a delivery.
That sucks. Like @aggie99 mentioned, try to sign up for UPS MyChoice free account and see if you can manage the delivery through the app.
Seeing as how you were able to cancel online, it's Samsung's fault for shipping it out. The customer shouldn't have to incur a restocking fee in this situation.
Yeah I actually have UPS my choice but refusing a delivery isn't an option. I'm going to try to ask for a manager next.
On a side note, UBS estimates the foldable iPhone could sell for as low as $1800-$2000. While possible, I doubt Apple would skip the opportunity to slap a Cupertino premium on the device. Just because it could be sold for that low doesn't mean Apple will.

Where does it ship from? You want to be careful if the original shipping address is not the same as their return center. I had a bad experience with refusing delivery on a Ti Apple Watch 7 that went back to China and got lost. Had to go through my credit card company to get my money back.
