So I received Fold 7 today and I don’t really like the form factor. The cover screen is too narrow, and the tablet form I’m not really enjoying. I didn’t ever really go down the tablet route. I always stuck with the max size slab phones and think I prefer them over the fold.
I did the opposite with my IP PM it's extra size and weight added nothing to my usage especially as it was only 9.5% wider. I have the IP 16P now as its much more friendlier but no where near as enjoyable or productive as my Fold 7 :)

Aaarrrggghhhhh....

As much as I want to; I cannot cope with dual SIM / both personal and business number on one phone 😂

I've sent numerous texts today already using my personal number because I've got fat thumbs; and made a few business calls with my personal number too... 🤬

S24U ordered via Amazon due to be delivered tomorrow haha - that'll be my business brick 👌🏼

Yea I tried the dual sim work and business on one phone and just can’t do it. Plus I like toys so gives me an excuse to have multiple devices 🤣. ZF 7 on my work line right now and 16 Pro Max on my personal.

Can someone explain MultiStar to me? I don't get what it does.
Each category has a detailed description on what it does… so you can check on each to see what you prefer but for the most part, MultiStar enhances multitasking on Galaxy Devices.

I have certain settings enabled specifically MultiStar-Window Screen zoom, Multi-Focus and Keep split mode… I think those are essential when it comes to multitasking.

Its kind of weird… both Multi Focus and Keep split mode does the same thing lol.

Got all my good lock downloaded but not really gone into detail yet. So much to go through. Home up one thing to use as that gives so many options

Ok thanks! Yeah I was super confused by the settings but the Zoom makes sense.

By the way, I'm liking this phone more and more that I've gotten used to even to use the outer and inner screen. My only worry is battery life but I'm still in the first 24 hours.

Camera is ok but I also don't take pics like I used to. I did try to take a picture of a cardinal at 30 times zoom yesterday and it did not turn out well. The Ultra would have. But it's not like I'm doing that all the time. That's a very rare use case.

One feature that would be really cool is if you're able to use the Samsung keyboard on the inner screen but Gboard on the outer screen. I prefer Gboard, but the Samsung keyboard is actually really nice and split view on the larger screen. larger screen.

I think I've done this before with routines Plus got to dig for it

So you are keeping it?

And to add what @Bkdodger mention… you can do routines for different launchers, have one setup for the cover and another for the inner screen. I’m just not a fan of the delay.

Only routines I have set up is to keep my cover screen in portrait mode only while inner screen can be auto-rotated.

I thought about getting an iPhone 15 Plus TBH; they're £650 brand new on Amazon currently. But seeing as I've just sold my 16PM and AWU2 on and got the Fold 7; I thought I'll stick with Android and found a brand new 256GB/black S24U on Amazon for £600 delivered - that'll do me ;)

I'm going to make my final decision on Monday. I'm going to use it over the weekend and just see how it fits in with my daily life for a couple days. I definitely do mess certain things about the ultra, but there are things that this device does that are really going to come in handy..

For me how thin and light it is makes it so much more attractive for me. It feels like a normal phone and now the display is usable when closed I just feel like foldables are better for me now.

Yeah I was already to package it back up and then I did a dual screen with Outlook and Teams for my work, and that just opened up the door for a bunch of possibilities. LOL

I think Tasker was the app that I was using to switch keyboards closed versus open Bc I can't find it under Routines+ , I also used Tasker for different launchers was better but now with stock launcher having more options I'm good

You can use Tasker as well, but Routines does it too.
