So I say this completely knowing that I need more time to let it settle in, but so far I'm very impressed but also underwhelmed. The outer screen is what it is, I know it's not supposed to be the highlight of the phone, but coming from the S25 Ultra, it's really underwhelming. The inner screen seems really great, but I did notice a little bit of lagging when I was scrolling Facebook just now. Might just be the app not fully optimized.

My hunch is that it's going back to Samsung, but I'm going to spend some more time with it.
Totally understand you need a little more time with it I'm sure and most definitely thinking the lag or scrolling might be not fully settled in on set up yet.

I share your view. The s25u just feels superior. I’ll never be on the train using this unfolded - that cover screen isn’t as good as I would have liked. I’ve noticed the lag, also my screen protector on the inner screen at the corner is lifting up.

Have you messed around with Good Lock yet? Specifically, Multi-star.

I don't use Facebook, so I can't really comment on it. But what makes the Fold special is using the taskbar, pop-window feature... SplitView and overall use of having a large canvas to take advantage of.

Got the Fold 7 all set up from my S25U. Man...I have to say...I am super impressed with the F7 so far! So light and thin!
I was not expecting to like it this much. This will give my S25U a run for the money so to speak.
The only slightly and i mean slightly negative thing about the F7 is how hard it to to crack open. But I am guessing it will loosen over time.
I have to do more testing over the weekend....

Definitely more difficult to unfold than the ZF6 or 9 Pro Fold due to how thin it is but I'm sure the hinge will have a little bit give after a bit of use. Always seems to be the case on foldables.

A lot going on in the background the first 24-48 hours after setting up a phone. Especially Android. Mine isn't lagging or stuttering at all now but I did get a bit here or there yesterday. Still less lag and freezes than my 16PM on iOS 26

I haven't checked out Multi-Star, I'll need to explore!

That shouldn't be happening. Maybe get it exchanged, unless you've decided to return it anyways.

What happens if you do get a dud from Samsung.com? How easy is it to exchange, anyone know? I know with BestBuy or a carrier you can just walk in the store and get taken care of.

Yep! That's my plan too. I'm going to use it over the weekend and just see how it fits in with life and then make a final decision.

I’ve already initiated a return via Samsung.com. First of all they tried to talk about a 20% restocking fee. I don’t think so. Then I spoke with Tech Support who authored a full refund upon return.

Or a finger 😄

I've been practicing drawing with my finger. It's not too bad and fine for me for quick notes and sketches. As I said earlier, I use a Supernote Nomad now for notes and sketches at work. It's much better, like a dedicated notepad.

I have a feeling opening up the phone without a case due to his thinness will probably provide a little bit of muscle memory haha, hopefully my thin case helps it in regards to opening. I don't know I never really felt any previous foldable from Samsung loosen in the hinge area but this one could be different

Just received mines, currently charging to full before I setup. Loving the how slim and light it is, and the cover screen is very useable. The Fold 3 was my last Fold so the Fold 7 is huge difference for me.

I like the clear grip case, but I really want the blue silicone grip case which is very hard to find at the moment. I'll just wait a bit.

Yep case certainly helps as you can get some purchase with it on one side for example if you have the Samsung silicone case
