Do magnets have any effect on phones?
Years back I bought a magnetic sleeve /pouch intending to use with a 3 year old fold generation and as you all know it never happened.
So with things now looking promising I have dusted it up because I do not intend to use any cases but a sleeve when carrying around. The magnet is only at the flip and only as strong as to attract a paper clip.

If you're going to go with a sleeve I would go with one that's not magnetic, now if you get a case with magnet at the charging area then that would be good.

And in 2-3 weeks we will know everything... including the price. If I can pay under $800 with my trade in... I'll do the upgrade.
I'm not going for the blue Fold 7 this time around since I did with the Fold 6... wish Samsung had a red one, I would choose that.
Had the black Fold 2 then went with the beige Fold 4... not sure what color I'd go with.
I can't wait to see this phone. Bigger screen, thinner form factor....yes please.

Are you guys planning to go caseless? I've had a case on my current Fold since day one but it would be nice to see the color of the phone.
I am watching this device closely to see if the larger screen kills the battery life. Debating between this or a Pixel 10 Fold as my next toy. Anybody seen tests of the Fold 6 SE from China to see how that does for battery life?

I’m definitely intrigued by this, but having never used Android before, I’m not entirely sure it’s the best entry point for someone coming from Apple. I’m actually considering starting with the Pixel 10 XL so I can explore the Android ecosystem without the extra bloat that comes with Galaxy devices. What I do know is that after decades with Apple, I’m ready for something different.
