Amazon has the 512gb model discounted as another person just posted a bit ago. Best Buy would likely price match since it is sold by Amazon and not a 3rd party. You may well have had a lemon. I used Smart Switch to transfer my S25U to Flip 7 and then Flip 7 to Fold 7. Have had no issues and battery life has evened out a bit and gotten a little better over the last couple weeks.
Mail in is probably better for those who are on the fence. I did the in-person trade in and if you decide to return the Fold you lose the $600 trade in promo from the S25U trade in, and would only receive a $400 store credit. Plus the restocking fee. At least with mail in you can take some time and keep the S25U and then just pay the restocking fee.
My wife has finally accepted my tech addiction and gave up. I've been meaning to buy an electric scooter for quite a while because it would be a relaxing 15 min commute to work on nice days.
