Yes I agree with you 50/50 or 70/30 is optimal but once in a while I like to change it up. 100% Samsung can definitely do it so hopefully it comes down the road with an update fingers crossed.
Only reason why Samsung added is cause it's in stock Android... not sure if they will copy OpenCanvas fully. One thing I wish they copy is the new floating window in stock Android.

It looks so much cleaner than how Samsung has it now... I use pop-up window feature often and it's been awhile since they made changes to it.

I do like that floating window and I have that on my OnePlus which is very useful. Hopefully more updates coming from Sammy.

I'm a traveling nurse so I had to trade in my WRX for the Honda which is a hybrid. I'm getting 53 mpg but I sure do miss manual transmission.

That Pic was taken with a Fold 7.
I just know I need to figure out something. I have way too many phones LOL I also have a Z flip 7, s25 ultra, iPhone 16 Pro Max and another z-fold 7 coming
I think you could use a couple more phones.

That's excellent kind of what I get MPG here in the city with my M60 LMFAO SMH

You don't fit here on the forums with all those phones I've never seen anyone with multiple phones around these parts NOT haha
How do you like the flip?
That's a hybrid? Looks nice but how is the performance?

That's @skulls17 car I replied on
I think I replied to the wrong person but I was curious on the Civic. So I googled it myself, from the reviews posted on YouTube and reddit it seems to be a very fun car to drive. Which makes me now curious on what a Type-R hybrid would be like. I had to take my mom's car into the dealer to have its oil change and they gave me a RX500h to drive around in, it accelerated like my Model Y a very quick off the line car and overall a joy to drive. I think a lot of performance cars are going to go the route of hybrids soon like the 911 GTS.

Here's a Fold 7 picture because I think its a pretty photogenic phone.

That would be the Honda Prelude coming out this fall. I have been keeping my eye on it.

Interesting. The next Prelude looks a lot like the current Prius.

I remember driving my cousin's 5th-gen Prelude SH back in the day and that was fun, but I was most impressed by my buddy's E36 M3. Of course, two different price ranges, but I still remember how the M3 stayed glued to the road even when cresting a hill at speed.

What case is everyone loving. I did like the Supcase Beetle Grip but $80 is so much for a case. I hate cases but just want something if I really need extra protection
I absolutely love this one.

Some of us have been saying this all year. We hear from our Apple friends that they are not happy with what apple is offering right now.
But lets see what happens after Sept.....
Do you think the trend will continue going down until next year when Apple release their foldable?

Reminds me of the Galaxy Note days... when users were not happy with the size of the iPhone and Apple finally decided it was time to release a larger one with the announcement/release of the 6 Plus.

I do think it will continue but taper off a bit when apple releases their version. Even if the software is not as mature as OneUI for foldables, apple will steal that foldable marketshare because of the ecosystem and people who are still loyal to the brand. I fully expect the hardware to be fantastic as well. I'm excited for it even though I know my ZF7 is probably functionally better than the iPhone foldable will be upon release.

They're conveniently leaving out some important context. This happens in the second quarter every year..typically Apple's lowest and Samsung's second most productive. It was more dramatic this year because Apple had a better Q1 than previous years.

Canalys doesn't have US specific data on their website but I'd eager it pretty much mirrors the global market. It does appear the gap is a slightly bigger than last year. But you're right about waiting until after Sept and through the holiday quarter to indicate if it's a trend.

It won't shock me at all if the Apple foldable blows Samsung and Google out of the water in the US for sales. I am definitely looking forward to the competition.

I am not sure if the trend will continue after Sept when they releases the new iPhones.
But it will be interesting to find out in a few weeks.

We only have a few weeks to find out.....

After a few weeks two things bothered me, the inner screen is a fingerprint magnet and I heard you can't even install your own inner screen protector without voiding the warranty. That being said I have yet to see it in writing anywhere that this is the case.

Second is, there's something wrong with the YouTube app. Like you guys ever noticed that there's no ads or advertisement for YouTube Plus? Like when I clicked a video it just goes straight to it without having to watch an ad, that's weird.

I'm now using an Amazfit Active 2 with my Z Fold 7 and Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earbuds. Almost out of the Apple walled garden except for my MacBook Air and work iPhone. I tried the Surface Pro 12 but I can torture myself only so much.

I am not sure if that really matters as probably the vast majority of IFOLD sales will be existing IPHONE users

As for competition if the IFOLD is based on the IPHONE chips and architecture then we will have the usual IOS vs Android preference scenarios

Now if Apple use an M1 variant then things could be more interesting
