Galaxy Z Fold7/Flip7

I ordered two Spigen cases (slim armor and tough armor) and both won't deliver until next month.
In the meantime I'm using the Samsung clear grip back case and stuck a metal MagSafe ring by ESR on the back of the case to have magnetic wireless charge. Not fast charge, but it does the job while keeping the very slim profile intact. Love this set up so far.
What color and storage size Fold did you get this time and when does it arrive? Really hope it works out.
Thanks! I still have the Samsung clear back with the grip thing on it. So I might just use that for now if I have any anxiety about using it naked.

Wasn't your 3 requirements that you felt the fold 7 compromised on screen, battery and camera?

It's always going to be a battle between the best specs and a completely new experience. The new experience seems to be winning out.
Maybe that's what it is? My issues with the z fold were the same as yours. Camera battery and front screen.
I have compared my z fold pics to s25 ultra. Unless you're using zoom they are nearly identical.
Battery isn't identical, but z fold will make it through the day for me.
Front screen is good to use one handed. My issue with it was that things would be jumbled and misaligned to do the aspect ratio I think.
I've been using more of the 90-10 on the screen lately when I'm multi-split mode.
It would be nice to have open canvas like the OnePlus
I wish I could try one plus, but it doesn’t work well on Verizon.
I like the 90:10 ratio as an option, but I prefer doing it 50:50 or 70:30... just to see content fit on the entire screen.
Yeah, I seen that video. Goes to show that Samsung can do it if they really wanted to.
Yes I agree with you 50/50 or 70/30 is optimal but once in a while I like to change it up. 100% Samsung can definitely do it so hopefully it comes down the road with an update fingers crossed.
On a separate note when you use kwgt have you noticed sometimes the widget expands for no reason? I found a few times where I will go into my home screen and the size is not proper.
Verizon told me not all the bands are available. I live in the mountains with on and off service. So I thought with all the bands not being available i might not get great cell service
You know I never looked at the bands but I live in New York City so the phone performs the same as my ZF7 and iPhone .
Oh yeah so you have service all the time. I live in NY too but in the catskill mountains.
I will have to take a trip over there LOL, where are you in New York? If you want I can wipe my phone and you can borrow it and test drive it haha

I'm 3.5 hours from NY city. Delhi NY. Pretty area but once you leave the small towns cell service is gone.

I'm a traveling nurse so I had to trade in my WRX for the Honda which is a hybrid. I'm getting 53 mpg but I sure do miss manual transmission.

I absolutely love the flip 7. It fits in my pockets excellently when I'm trying to take care of clients in their homes -I don't have a brick swinging around in my pocket. The battery is actually pretty good on the flip much better than the fold. The only thing about the flip again is the camera it's garbage if you need to zoom or do macro mode because it doesn't have macro modeThat's excellent kind of what I get MPG here in the city with my M60 LMFAOSMH

Yep that's about right, I've owned a few flips before but otherwise portability is excellent and handles well.
I have to do some testing when I throw the SIM back in the OnePlus 13 because I could swear that I've had 5G UW I was just looking up bands for the phone through a Google search

Excellent phone and hopefully you can test drive one, I'm looking forward to OnePlus 15 next year it's suppose be a beast
Fold 7 is a sweet bit of kit, but I find myself debating what I'm getting over my Fold 6 + $1000:
Thinner and roughly 10% less weight (but no S Pen)
Wider cover screen (which could indirectly lead to better battery life)
Lesser speakers (which doesn't matter as I usually pair to my car or BT device)
Better main camera
Autofocus on ultrawide would actually come in handy with group selfie with family
Faster performance (but Fold 6 isn't lacking performance)
Same battery
A little hard to justify, yet I can't stop looking up the Fold 7 and checking prices. Let's see if anything changes with Labor Day sales.
