I'd been using Samsung keyboard and switched to Gboard full-time a couple of weeks ago. I like the customization and effects with Samsung keyboard but Gboard is just much more accurate. I did find the size customization to be better with Samsung keyboard, but Gboard is great.

Good luck!
Changing the size of Gboard felt like I found the hidden cheat code TBQH. That being said once I found out how to resize the Gboard keyboard I find the customization equal to what I could do with the Samsung keyboard.

Equal?? I might have to revist Gboard, because Samsung provides theming via Theme Park along with using Keys Cafe to make all kinds of changes.

I ended up getting the Torras case for this thing and I absolutely love it. I'll use the phone naked most of the time, but this will be great when I'm out and about. Got a magsafe battery pack too. Obviously charges it slow but if I'm out and about and don't have access to a charger all day, this will come in handy.

Somehow I was able to get the anti glare screen protector from Samsung to go on without any bubbles too!

Did y'all notice Samsung announced another Galaxy event for September 4th? Is this for the tri-fold?
According to SamMoble...
Samsung has confirmed that a Galaxy Event will take place online on September 4, a day before this year’s IFA kicks off in Berlin. The company says the event will showcase the latest Galaxy AI experience while introducing new hardware, including a fifth addition to the Galaxy S25 series and a lineup of premium AI-powered tablets.

Highly doubt we see the trifold, supposedly it's coming late in the year...

What are your impressions after receiving and using the Fold again? Keeper this time? Also if you want a glass screen protector for the outer screen, the Spigen one is really great. Simple install that takes 5 seconds and no dust or alignment issues.

So far so good! I really think my first one was a lemon because I had a lot of issues with heat and freezing up. Also, I think testing it out on vacation was the worst thing because I hadn't really gotten a chance to use it in a normal environment. Sitting at my desk with an open all day on the charger makes it really worth it.

Thanks for the recommendation on that screen protector. Is it also anti-glare?

Sadly no, just regular glare. I haven't found any quality true anti-glare glass protectors out there.

That makes sense! I'm going to see how this one works out for a bit but I might look at the glass one. I normally hate screen protectors but I don't even notice that the anti-glare film is on

Welp it's official. I sold my S25 Ultra just now, so no going back. :D

I am on OneUi Beta 8 so I'm going to need to revert it back. Anyone have experience doing so?
Yes i think my fold was a lemon too. This one has almost the same battery life as my s25 ultra. Almost....
This one gets warm when I use the camera a lot, but it cools down quickly.

Did you sell the s25 ultra so you’d have no choice but to use the Fold? Or do you like the Fold?

Color me surprise lol... never thought you would actually do it, glad to have you fully on board the foldable family!

Never done it myself, but I suppose the beta program will walk you through the steps and you could use Smart Switch to downgrade.

Somehow got a very deep scratch in my outer screen today. No idea how it happened. It's about an inch long and very deep. Ubreakifix already has it listed as an item they do repairs on. Not sure if the insurance would cover a screen replacement for just a scratch. It's bothering me enough that I'm willing to just pay the astronomical cost out of pocket. 😬

Ouch, I have the Samsung anti glare screen protector on my one, however, it is quite soft compared to previous years and has slight abrasion marks already, but there is a spare in the box.

Oh dang! Yeah I would do what you're thinking too and just spend the money for an insurance claim.

I do really like the official Samsung anti glare film. It basically cancelled out my one complaint about the Z Fold because it truly is antiglare. In fact, I'm going to buy 2 more just so I have them on standby.

I'll have to check that out once i get my screen fixed up. I typically don't like screen protectors that aren't tempered glass due to the bubble issue but I think I'll give it a try

Yeah I normally hate screen protectors. But I can barely notice that this one is on. The only time I notice is if I'm swiping from the sides of the phone I feel a little bit of the edge of it but barely at all.

I have definitely noticed that my enjoyment for this phone coincides with how often I have it opened. During the week I have it open almost all the time during the work day. And then on weekends I have it closed more just because I'm on the go. I noticed that over the weekend I was having some doubts again, but now today I'm loving it. So a long story short, I need to use the device to its full potential as much as possible.

I switched my sim over to my S25U this weekend. I really notice how much I love this device when I want that big screen but don't have it. Most of the time it's just a decent, solid phone. But when I need that big screen is where it really shines.

Sure does. It's just really nice having the option. The S25U is fantastic but after using this phone and then going back to it it just felt like another boring slab phone.
