I think macman is correct.

I just received an email from Gear4's customer service and they confirmed that the case which they have listed on their website is clear/transparent.

Yup, just recieved an email as well. It's transparent. I'll be keeping my order. It doesn't hurt to ask by email about a product.

Gear4 said:
Apologies the description on the website is misleading, I have checked the product myself and the case is completely transparent.

hey tallyho can u post please a photo of the case alone (the front and the back). i'm very interest in this case.

Haha, I also received an e-mail and the lady told me she can confirm that the case is completely transparent.:D

tallyho, thanks for your help. This is so confusing. So is the one on the Gear4 website the same as the one listed on the Apple site? Also, is this case the same "type" of case as the ivyskin and casemate "naked" case? A hard plastic shell that covers the entire phone including the touch screen, but the touch screen still works through the case? I may cancel my ivyskin order and order from Gear4... it's crazy that they don't have cases like these for purchase here in the US...

Yeah I think the "aluminium" description is a mistaken copy/paste from a case they made for the original iPhone. The case is transparent, but the front is black apart from where the screen is and the two proximity sensors which have clear windows. Because the front of the iPhone is black anyway, I can see why it looks like the whole thing is transparent, but it's not.

Here are some pictures of the case without the iPhone in it. I hope that clarifies things for the people asking about the design of the case. There definitely is a bit of a knack to getting the case off, by the way. I can do it fairly easily but it took me a while to figure out just where to try to slide my thumbnail into the join between the two sections of the case in order to release the four raised "blobs" from the four holes.

Wow that looks great! I'm glad everyone got clarification. I may just place an order myself since ivyskin and case mate is taking so long to get stock. Has anyone got a tracking number from Gear4 and approximately how long it will take to get to the States?

I'd like to know this as well... I currently have an order for $41 placed with ivyskin. If this is only ~$50, I'd gladly pay the difference if I can get the case sooner. The site says 3-6 days for "Royal International Shipping" so I may just do it. I wish they provided a tracking #

(sigh) All this over a case... I feel like I'm trying harder to get the case than the actual phone!

there is no option for royal int shipping to the US it takes 5-10 days, so im guessing about a week, but thats still a lot better than waiting 2-4 more weeks with ivyskin or case-mate

I placed my order on Sunday night, and the lady told me that it would ship out today, if not, definitely tomorrow. She also said the delivery time would take 5-10 days (I live in the US).

Interesting. I thought the website said 3-6 days for international shipping. If it takes the full 10 days, that's already into August (which is when ivyskin is supposed to get their shipment of the Xylo T3 cases)

Hmm...I hate not having a case for my phone

Yeah but why get a bad case when u can get the best ;)

To anyone from the UK who ordered direct from Gear4. How long did your order take to arrive?. Did you get shipping notification?

Well, I just ordered one of these. I hope it's cool and doesn't scratch easily! (One big advantages of rubber/silicone cases is that they show wear really well. Any hard, glossy surface tends to show scratches.)

So does the case work with screen protector underneath the case's front part? I just got my iPhone + IceBox + Power Support Crystal shields so I'd really like to know asap.

tallyho, you've had the case for a few days now. does it scratch easily? i'm about 2 clicks away from cancelling my ivyskin order and ordering the the ice box...

Also, how exactly does the screen protector on this thing work? It looks like it's built in? Wouldn't that make it less responsive as it wouldn't be technically attached to the screen?

Yeah but why get a bad case when u can get the best ;)

I'm still concerned what you mean by this post. Were you referring to the IvySkin Xylo T3 case as the "best" or the Gear4 Ice Box Pro case as the "best." If so, can you please elaborate.

I was about to cancel my ivyskin order and order the Gear4 Ice Box case but now you have me worried...

you guys think this is the same?

Hey I was about to order this case from the gear4 site and decided to check eBay real quick to see if I could maybe forgo paying out the ass for it and I came across these two cases which look almost identical but without any branding. So my question to you guys is does it look the same and do you think I should check one of these out?

Here are the links?

Thanks Everyone!

Great find! It is most likely the same. It is said to be the same manufacturer but different branding for the different companies. They all most likely get it from the same source.
