I just received my case from eBay (the one I posted a link to earlier) and without a doubt it is the biggest piece of ***** I have ever seen in my life. I would rather wrap my phone in cling wrap then put this junk on it. First it came out of the package with MASSIVE scratches on the screen. I mean I heard it scratched easily but this was like someone threw it across the pavement before packaging it into the box. Secondly the "touch through" glass claim is such bull*****. I literally had to put as much pressure as I could for the iPhone to even begin to respond. That could be an issue simply because I have Ghost Armor on it but others here said that it didn't cause any problem. Also the air bubble issue was not even close to being solved by having the screen and back protector on it. Needless to say don't waste your time with this garbage. Wait for the casemate or the incase slider. I've contacted the seller and I hope to get a refund for this amateur attempt of a case. For now I'll stick with my GA and hopefully I don't drop it before inCase gets its act together and releases the slider.

ahh **** and I bought one from ebay too lol :(

Well maybe he got a duff one, or maybe the gear4 version is better. My Gear4 icebox case is fantastic. And the responsiveness of the iphone is not affected.

How does the screen look? Any occasional "bubble" problems or weird moire light patterns or is it perfectly clear? Thank you for your input.

wow I am so interested in this case. I hope some alternative or the actual case is available soon in the US.

I have the Gear4 case and have been using it for a couple of weeks now. I am generally please with it. Observations I have are that you can still use it with a screen protector underneath but it is not quite as responsive as just using the Gear4 screen on its own. I do find that dust gets behind the cover but a quick clean every few days clears that. The bubble issue is still there but a quick gentle squeeze of the sides before using the phone eliminates this. I find the rear has scratched quite easily but it doesn't detract too bad from its appearance. I also have a few scratches on the front cover and that is with careful placement in a pocket without keys or loose change.

Overall it is an OK case, it gives good protection, but it is rather expensive and I will be getting a Vaja Ivolution to replace it.

As I mentioned earlier, I have solved the air bubble issue. I stuck two layers of electrical tape on the inside of the cover, out of sight. This has been sufficient to raise the cover above the iphone screen an extra quarter mm. So now there are no trapped air problems, and the responsiveness of the iphone hasn't suffered.

Well my eBay case came in today (yay) and it sucks
The case is scratched on arrival, I have to put pressure on screen so it would function, the back piece doesn't go on well with the phone in (streaking gray/black lines) and taking the back piece out is hard and I have to pull it out from the top instead of the bottom.

I might have a dud, but if you want a better chance of your case working/unscratched go with case-mate and gear4

For now I might ask for a replacement or refund... and go with case-mate or an inCase slider when it comes out

UPDATE: I just found 2 PLASTIC tabs inside the case front shell part that scratches the bezel of my iPhone :( and also spaces out the phone from actually touching the case. Can anyone confirm that their iPhone touches the case or theres to plastic tabs one on each side? Mine's the ebay version

To those who ordered the Gear4 case, is there any way to track your order once it's in the United States? I was given a tracking #, but it only says that my item arrived overseas and is now in the US, but does not specify where or when I'll be receiving it...

I just picked up my Gear4 Icebox Pro from the Post Office, and let's just say that I am not happy.

As soon as I put the case on my phone, I noticed that there were already fingerprints and scratches on the case, as if it had already been used. I also noticed a small crack in the plastic, and it made it hard to fully clip the case onto my phone. I e-mailed Gear4 and told them how upset I was, and this case ended up costing me about $57 in US money. I told them I want a replacement at no cost, and if not I want to return my case for a full refund.

:(

It sounds like yours is might be the only issue, because from the pictures, it is a gorgeous case, I bet they send another one, the only problem is waiting for it....I have a tracking # for it, but For some reason it isnt giving me any updates, it just says in on its way overseas...nothing new, like when its due to arrive...Its already been 5 days, I will be pissed if I dont get it by friday.

But I hope my case isnt scratched up, and broken.

just got it!

I just got my Icebox and it was delivered by DHL. so far no scratches on mine and looks clean. But something is bugging me, what the hell are those extra holes by the earpiece for  I will post pics later.

How long did yours take, when did yours ship out, and I really want to see your pictures.

here's the pics...

sorry it's not of a good quality, i don't have a digital camera so I just took pictures of it on my macbook

I'm happy with it so far. Everything fits. It's very easy to put it on but it's kinda hard to take it out, which is good anyway. My only gripe, the front of the case is smudge and fingerprint magnet. So I guess I just have to wipe very often :p good thing the case came with a cloth for wiping. All in all I'll give it a 4 star. So anybody figured out what the extra holes are for on the front?:D

Honestly, I think the cheap eBay clear cases and these CaseMate, Icebox, etc. products are made in the same factory.

Most of them are identical in quality/construction.

Great pics, they make the case look REALLY good. I was thinking about waiting for the Incase Slider, but your pictures and review might have just changed my mind!

Got mine today and I must say its a nice bit of kit though as it's plastic its gonna get scratched to buggery. I feel a naked iPhone is much more durable as its glass and much better quality plastic.

I'm sure you don't need more pics but I'll post some later anyway. :p

What is this "naked" case you speak of? Is that the Casemate "naked" case? That's glass? I thought it was plastic like the Gear4, eBay, ivyskin, etc.
