Well, not my cup of tea. But you mentioned blue…

I prefer the black matte one on the left. Neucase will give you any color combination you want and it's not a skin or case. It's the actual phone housing anodized in the color you choose.

But if that's not to your liking then each to his own I guess.

The blue, red and black looks so much better than all the colours Apple offers. Not a fan of black phones but that matte black is gorgeous.

I feel like the OP its very tempting to make a switch for a while. I was thinking about using TMobile jump and then in 6 months when the iPhone 7 comes jump back. I guess the biggest thing Android has to offer me is customizing the look of the phone and a file system. Plus it will probably be rooted and maybe be able to flash some custom ROMs or even make my own ROM like the old days. For those that say its a phone not a entertainment device thats just BS I get plenty of entertainment from my phones.

The Nexus 6 wouldn't hold a cell connection like my iPhone does, it had issues with certain Wi-Fi networks (drained tons of battery, heated up, lagged like crazy), would take upwards of 1 minute to connect to a known network
Then you had a defective Nexus 6. Motorola radios are the best, definitely better than Apple's.

Lol nice. That's a bit much for a different housing. It looks great but 300 dollar better? I'm not sure.
Well, to me it would be something to get after the first year when the original warranty is up.

But yeah, the price is steep. When you consider though that what they are doing is reanodizing the metal with the new color and giving you new antenna bands in the color you wish I think it's worth it. I wouldn't pay that for a new stock Apple housing.

At that point I am much less concerned about warranty and damage as we usually have our phones for 2.5 to 3.5 years. Be a nice refresh to have a black matte phone and not have to worry about warranty issues.

I have been an Android user for many years and just now switched to the S6+.
After being an iMac and iMac Pro user for the last several years I don't know what took me this long to become an iPhone user.
Maybe it's because I bought one for my wife and I realized....
HEY.....this thing is COOL!
The simplicity of the iPhone is amazing.
I have to admit that the Android phones are nice too..
They will do things the iPhone doesn't.

How do you find Touchwiz compared to iOS ? I find it very slow, laggy and bloatware filled. Has that changed ?

Cheers !

It's fast and smooth now. That may change a year from now though as new updates (and bloat) are released.

Yeah that's supposedly the case. The problem is that the signal issue is quite widespread, and many people returned their phones in the beginning and got another one that had the same issues. It's something to do with Android itself I believe, because various updates jacked up the radios for a number of people including myself.

Also, the problem with the phone is not that it would drop cell connection completely all the time, but that it would randomly jump around bands and signal strengths just sitting in place. In the exact same areas my iPhone and 2014 Moto X (5.1 Lollipop) would hold on to at least 1-2 bars of signal, the Nexus would drop it completely.

The iphone is a tool ... a means to an end. Saying one is bored with it is like a carpenter saying he is bored with his hammer or chisel. Use the tool that works for you, but the real measure of a tool is not what it looks like, but what one can do with it.

My iphone lets me talk to people, send messages to people, check email, adjust the thermostat in my house, turn lights on and off, keep up with the news of the world, mute and change frequencies on wireless microphone transmitters, manage timecode on movie sets, check the weather, manage my bank accounts, pay bills, take pictures and video, etc, etc.

And there are thousands more apps available to do almost anything you can imagine. How can you possibly be bored with a tool that can do so much?

Android can do even more.

Of course, older Samsung phone user could do a lot more with last generation Android OS. Samsung are so careful on new Android release it normally take more than 1 years to release OS after Google release them. Customer 1st for them, right?
