How do you find Touchwiz compared to iOS ? I find it very slow, laggy and bloatware filled. Has that changed ?

Cheers !
In what time Frame? Both s6 devices in my household are blazingly fast...

Sometimes I'm still amazed of how effortless I can manipulate and send pictures to friends and family.
Are you Comparing this From an iphones perspective or from all smartphones as a whole.

As... I can take and have mailed a pic. To my other half in roughly 6 seconds. . Sad I know.. this coming from a s6 edge plus...

All.modern smartphones are great these days.. let's not think only the more pricier ones can do anything. ..

Then you had a defective Nexus 6. Motorola radios are the best, definitely better than Apple's.

I have 6s plus and nexus 6 on my two separate tmo lines which i carry with me everywhere. I can tell that there absolutely no difference between the two when it comes to reception

I don't know if it is a function of the Google infrastructure vs apples for their stores, but it is night and day for me.

When setting up my phone I downloaded a bunch of new apps over LTE. I was blown away by how fast they came down. It a lot of instances the speed of the downloads exceeded my speed test.net results.

App store apps crawl in comparison. I also have seen a noticeable difference in how fast YouTube begins streaming.

I wasn't comparing the iPhone to any other phone, only highlighting what I still find exciting after using it after almost 8 years.

I'm sure you can do it on a lot of different phones.

iOS has a ton of bloatware too. That's why I see a "Apple junk" folder on everyone's iPhone.

While results can vary from person to person, my junk folder doesn't have much in it at all. Not compared to my older S4. Between the manufacturers' and carriers' added software, I think there's generally more bloatware on the average Android phone than there is on an iPhone (with the exception of Nexus phones).

I understood bloatware to mean something different than pre-installed apps you don't like? Maybe if you can't delete them but if you don't use them while they take up space they don't use any other resources. Bloatware actually slows down the OS and doesn't really do any good for the user - at least as I understood it from having to remove that from my Windows PCs.

Newsflash: it's a tool to do a job, iOS itself is not an entertainment platform.

Seeing as how it supports audio and video playback, games and ebooks, it isn't difficult to see how it can be an entertainment platform to some.

I've always thought of them as the pre installed apps that cannot be removed. They take up space which, on some phones, can be in really short supply.

A platform for entertainment applications sure.

A platform to provide you entertainment by itself?

Nope...

Saying "i'm bored with iOS" is like saying "i'm bored using a fork to eat with". it's a tool.

While I agree that iOS is absolutely not free of garbage apps (and Apple seems to add at least one new one with every iteration), it's pretty bad on android devices, especially given the fact that you have three different entities (Google, carrier and manufacturer) wanting to throw apps on the device. Obviously, that's not Google's fault or some problem with android, it's just reality.

In a perfect world, all phones would come with a dialer, settings app, text app and an App Store. That's it. Let us figure out the rest ;)

I'm the biggest iPhone fan but I'm getting tired of it now, the magic doesn't quite feel it's there anymore. The 6 is so boring looking and the same lame lcd screen that's been on there for years. I really want to get the galaxy s6 edge (s7 too big for my taste) I think it looks pretty cool how it seems dark blue, amoled screen and I can use it in the Gear VR. I would never leave iPhone, this would just be a second phone. I don't really like android os though.

Go buy it. Life is short.

Personally I wouldn't touch any smartphone or tablet with the name Samsung but if it's going to make you happy go for it.

You aware that many components inside the iPhone are made my Samsung? and you dont having problem using it...

Of course I'm aware. But there is a huge difference between a component and its use. You can give me oils and a canvas and I produce a stick figure. My cousin will create a beautiful portrait. Same tools, different execution.

I don't consider any Apple app bloat ware as they are all useful. So my phone doesn't have a "junk " folder.
This is my junk folder. Compared with the number of what I find to be useless bloat I get on Samsung, this is nothing.

Yah I don't normally use FMF.
But those are the only apps I don't use.
News is redundant for me since I use BBC, CNN, and NPR. Movies....I don't really use.
But honestly, six apps as opposed to the dozen or more that I have to disable to Samsung? No brainer.

But you are happy to have devices with loads of bits made by Samsung inside them? How weird. .
