I wouldn't do benchmarks this soon after updating. You don't know what background processes are running, pulling iCloud stuff, indexing...
I find it incredible stable on my 4S.
Animations are more fluid and the overall responsiveness is much improved from Beta 6.
No app crashes or lag at all.
To me, performance seems virtually identical to b6. Benchmark results are virtually identical as well.I find it incredible stable on my 4S.

Same here. The last beta i tried was 5, and this is MUCH better. Camera opens fast, multitasking switcher is fluid, etc...seems ready to ship to me
Also, burst mode works for the 4s tooAnd there are 7 dynamic wallpapers instead of 2
Would like to try it on my ipad 3, but i value being able to install xbmc too much (needs jailbreak), so i´ll wait
Would the average iPhone user recognize such disparity, in his or her day to day activities? I doubt it.
That's not burst mode, that's just taking photos. Totally different.
Siri (UK Male voice) seems hugely quiet and muffled compared to iOS 6, it's as if he's talking through a pillow or something - has anyone else noticed this?
You get the new voices if you change it to English (United States) ... but then it doesn't understand you.![]()
It struggles with a Northern Irish accent as it is!
The UK Male voice is definitely the same one as iOS 6, it just seems hugely muffled now. It was very distinct and clear before but now you'd struggle to understand it with any significant background noise.
Siri has always felt like an afterthought for UK/Irish users. If I try and "Set timer for 8 minutes" it comes back with "Set table for 8" then tells me it can't find restaurants in my area.![]()
there is still the alarm bug where you aren't able to choose a song as your ringtone!
Performance is terrible on my iPad mini. Pretty much every game I play has at least half the frame rate it did before the update.
