iOS 7 GM iPhone 5.

As you can see, extremely disappointing.

Just ran Geekbench twice, first with the new Geekbench 3, and then once with the old Geekbench 2. The Geekbench 3 result is much higher than yours, and the Geekbench 2 result is better than iOS6.

Performance on my iPhone 5 has been very good. No performance loss compared to iOS6.

Feels very much like a beta OS on my IP5. No where near the quality of previous iOS GM builds.

Anyone else still have the folder animation bug? If I swipe to a different page in a folder immediately after opening it, it brings me back to the first page again.

I did not restore to 6.1.3 first, just went into DFU mode and loaded it then restored from iCloud. This was in iTunes 11.05, no activation issue at all.

Wow. I don't know what happened when I got those scores but I did a retest and got 713 and 1292. Essentially one point off compared to yours.

Am I crazy or is the messages app icon different?

Not trolling, it seems slightly more... oval.

Seems to be better, good backgrounds, ringtones and alerts... Like the gm better than the beta 4+5. I was always having the waiting app when I d/l any app...

Wow, that is a serious performance loss. Very disappointing indeed. I knew it FELT slower on my 5, but I didn't suspect it actually WAS slower.

Ahh the ole slow down your older device with the new OS trick. "Damn my device feels slower maybe it's time to upgrade".

Same here. The last beta i tried was 5, and this is MUCH better. Camera opens fast, multitasking switcher is fluid, etc...seems ready to ship to me

Also, burst mode works for the 4s too :) And there are 7 dynamic wallpapers instead of 2

Would like to try it on my ipad 3, but i value being able to install xbmc too much (needs jailbreak), so i´ll wait

How does it compare to ios6?

I retract my earlier comment about Siri sounding bad. I woke up this morning and suddenly I've got new Siri back again. Odd.

I've had one or two crashes to home screen when choosing ringtones in settings, but everything else seems super.

One thing i gotta ask for the people who noticed, does the phone now tell you that the battery is fully charged or does the lightning bolt flash or something ?

Nothing new there, same as it was in the last few betas.

The guys at Geekbench told me that the scores between GB2 and GB3 aren't comparable due to the way benchmarks are run. My iPad 4 is some 300 points less on GB3 versus GB2.

I never used any of the betas, but I just downloaded the GM today and so far I'm really liking what I'm seeing here.

Maybe people are having problems, but I've been using iOS 6 for a year to date and iOS 7 feels polish, fluid and quite lovely.

Go a head and hate on me, but I love it and think it's quite fast.

It's annoying that I downloaded it not knowing my phone wouldn't read on iTunes until 11.1, but no biggy, that'll be here before I know it!
