I use to love how people said Tim was doing fantastic, just look at stock value!

Apple is the undisputed king of innovation!! I heard the new iPhone doesn't even require a 3.5" headphone plug! So... new Apple watch wristbands anyone?
Yep, and do not care for who. They roll out their services on iOS, Android, Windows, OSX.
Apples problem is, users are satisfied with their older products and are keeping them longer. Apple needs to do a combination of things, lower prices across all products and add better value to introductory models. Eliminate the 16 GB model iPhones. Standard 32 GB model, 64 GB for iPad. Increase the storage limit of iCloud from the measly 5 GB to 15 GB minimum. Buy up some services that keep users hooked: Netflix, Hulu, Dropbox.
TBH, I am more concerned about how powerful Google has become and their investments in AI.

What's funny, is that is always what iPhone fanatics say. I recall lots of people saying the exact same thing you are saying now, such as:
"Who needs LTE in a phone, 3G is plenty fast enough"
"No one would want a phone bigger than 4", large screen phones are stupid"
"Who would want to multitask on a phone, it would kill the battery life"
"Having split screen on a phone is pointless"
"Why would want to pay for things with their phone? Mobile payments are useless"
"No one needs greater than 720p resolution"
"Smartwatches are a useless gimmick"
Face it. All of the features Apple has come out with since the creation of the iPhone and App Store, Android had previously and fanboys like you always said it was stupid until Apple came out with it years later.
Well, first the iphone users will not see a reasonable upgrade until 2018 unless they want a phone with no headphone jack...major fail. Then, the macbook pro users are still waiting for their upgrades and they are sitting at home with a outdated laptop. Spotify is overtaking iTunes...This just doesn't look good for apple.

You're right, we sure don't have to worry about any intelligent AI coming from Apple .. Siri can't even manage to do simple things properly most of the time. Apple's view of AI in the future must be that if we only speak very slowly the machines will know what we are doing.
I no longer have to learn foreign languages because of Google...I thank them for Translate and I don't mind becoming a robot.

Really? Looks to me that most of the people in here are the usual "Apple is doomed" Android trolls that are in every article these days.
People are not buying MBPs because they know new MBPs are around the corner, Apple also dumped a ton into new R&D for cars. People are not buying phone because new Phones are around the corner. All is easily explained...

So what? Apple still makes billions of profits each year. For over thirteen years they broke their own profits... And just now, after more then a decade, a decline and one journalist after the other are writing that the end of Apple is there....
I couldn't care less if Apple is nr. 1 in value, as long they make good products. And knowing that this company still makes billions of prifits each year I don't see Apple disappear any time soon.
IMHO I would say: give Apple a break, it's ok to be "just" number 2 after years of record breaking profits....

I'm not sure the Apple car will be what Apple needs to bring it out of its slump in the next couple years....they should focus on pleasing their customers. Alot of things that we have asked for, they have constantly refused to give us on our products and devices. If having a Apple car means I won't be able to fill my tank with gas at the gas station because apple invented some so-called innovative way to power my car and I have to spend extra money to use the feature, then I don't want it.
Every signle troll may speak out whatever he or she wants, besides, stating that Apple is "Doomed" is quit hilarious to begin with. And laughter is healthy.
Or maybe they just line up to buy whatever dross is dished out year in, year out.. at top dollar, then brag about the profits they make. Jeez....
