Go Apple! Google needs a spanking too! Maybe even more than FB! Can’t be trusted with our stuff? Then you lose it! If it’s worth teaching in second grade, it’s worth applying in life. Like now.

Paddle ‘em good!

This program has been running on iOS for over 6 years. Apple doesn’t care. If it gets revoked now it’s just because of the bad press.

Just changed my default search engine to DuckDuckGo...
After a few days you will wonder what Google is. Sure, initially it seems that DDG does not return quite the number of results that Google will throw at your face, but I can live with that. DDG is a fantastic search engine. I diligently worked to rid myself of anything to do with Google or Facebook, where I could.

Alright Apple...apply the rules equally, please.

It'll be interesting to see if their enterprise certificates are revoked too.

If Apple hopes to maintain their reputation as a disinterested third-party who play fair with all parties, they absolutely must. It is imperative that Apple walk their talk on privacy and rules-breaking. Otherwise they'll deserve every bit of venom they get.

It wouldn't be the first time they've done this sort of thing, rules not applying to everyone. Think this would have even happened to Facebook if Facebook weren't in the news for so many bad things lately?

Thanks, added Propaganda to my reading list.
Propaganda from Bernays? It’s a great first step. I’d HIGHLY recommend PR! By Stewart Ewin for a more holistic look at how this all operates in the real world over the last century. It’s basically the comprehensive history of propaganda/pr (same thing). Highly highly highly recommended reading.

It seems like Apple finds out more about itself from the news than it does internally, whether it's bugs like the FaceTime bug, malware in Mac App Store that was at the top of the most downloaded, or these enterprise certificates.

Do they have too few employees for the size of their company or are they mismanaged?

Unfortunately, no.

I'm afraid you'll be proven right, although I think we'd both prefer if you were proven wrong.

There would be no way for Apple to know this unless they happened upon it. When you sign up for an enterprise certificate and use it to sign apps, apple doesn't have the ability to review the app before it is distributed (or even after). It relies on the legal contract between itself and the app developer to prevent this sort of thing.

Well, yeah, the rules are there for a reason. But we both also know the rules these days are mainly for the people who haven't been deemed too important to lose.

We're gonna ALL soon find out what kind of Man Tim Cook really is.

Facebook & Google need to be punished, & BIG time !

Let's see if he (soon) steps up to the plate & Announces their Punishment !

I doubt Jobs would hesitate.

I doubt Jobs would hesitate either ... to have a press conference about how outraged he was. I don't think he would actually do much though .

What we need is a wall, a great big beautiful wall to stop the US from their illegal and immoral activities all around the world.

Mexico recognised this, that they needed a wall on their southern boarder, but it would cost too much. Then someone had a bright idea, put one on their northern border and get the US to pay for it. :)

So, I guess we will be all buying into the great Chinese firewall...

If google is smart they’ll bin that app quickly.

Too late, they got caught with their pants down already.
