But if you wanted to use the service the age barrier is VERY easy to bypass. In reality the companies don't care if underages use their restricted services. Thats why they take only the bare minimum of effort to enforce it. I mean, its only because they are required by law to restrict their content. They get nothing from it. If underages sneak into their services they make more money. Win win.

Google +, is it worth the change?

Hi everyone, I really don't understand what is so exiting about google +, it is basically facebook but you can share pictures and posts with ¨circles¨ instead of all your firends! It makes me wonder why would i take my time to transfer pictures from facebook to facebook +... eum, i mean google + sorry;P

If you have anything to say that could convince me to switch go ahead or if you think google + is a waste of time i'd like to ear why!!

Thank you

I like the Circles.

Google+ also gives you more control over your data. BIG PLUS, in my opinion.

And... no advertisements (at least, not yet).

EDIT:
Also, no reason to completely switch over while you still have friends on Facebook. Maybe over time you could consider making a 100% switch (like myspace to Facebook back in the day).

I like the clean design and the way you can put people in circles but its kind of a chicken and egg problem. A lot of people aren't going to switch from Facebook so I guess just sign up and wait to see if anyone really switches over. Seems like everyone who is non-techie isn't as excited.

I remember when Facebook came out, a friend of mine who was in college (I was in high school at the time) suggested it to me. I joined and had just her as a friend. I also suggested all my friends and family join, but all of them said they'd stick with MySpace as no one is on there. Several months later, people started moving over to Facebook. And now look at Facebook.

I'm not saying the exact same will happen for Google+, but I do think something similar will happen, once it gains popularity. But you are right about non-techies not being as excited.

I would appreciate an invite:

Thanks
