You use the one product, above all others, they want you to use. Safe... what does that mean? We all have a right to privacy. I just don't think some of us realize that what we consider private data and what companies consider private data can be, and often is, two different things. I've found it helpful to read the actual privacy policies. They give you a better indication of what a company is actually doing. That way, I know I'm making a better informed decision.I do not use Google's other products. Not Gmail, not Docs, not Drive, not Google+. I only use search and I don't care if they know what I search. My other data is safe. My emails are safe from their eyes.Privacy to me is having control over what do you allow others to know about you, that's it. Tell me if I am wrong and just offending you with mindless "parroting" as you call it.
Offending me? How? Mindless parroting? Not sure who said that, but I'm guessing you're paraphrasing with a touch of hyperbole thrown in to enforce your point. Fair enough. In retrospect, parroting wasn't the greatest choice of word usage. Apologies for that.
